First of all, congrats to all our Finnish users for a hockey win! I would like to be in Helsinki now!!! 

 

And secondly,

 

looks like we have our polls-winner!!!

 

Provisional rankings show that @Wumo won the whole thing.

 

And that was pretty close - looks like the decisive move was predicting that Victoria Carl will finish 12th in 30k cross-country race. Man, how the fuck did you know that???

 

Congratulations @Wumo There is a bottle of best Polish vodka prepared for you. Well-frozen. You'll find it in the post. Enjoy!

 

Congrats for @mrv86 and @phelps for the other medals. That was so close!!! Don't give up, maybe next season...

 

But I would like to say it loudly that @Wumo is such a deserved winner here. I have written this earlier in these polls series, but I will repeat it now - I would like to THANK YOU for all the efforts in your prediction contests. I can see now how much time and work it takes, so big respect for you from me and all of us, I guess!!!

 

I think there may be some minor mistakes in the peleton scores but a winner looks to be certain. If you find any mistakes, please let me know.

I have promised a Super-Sunday for my family today, after all these 16 days in Beijing, so the final rankings with all these fancy flags&tags will be published rather later than sooner, forgive me that.

It will be here altogether with all the behind-the-scenes reports, special honorary awards and doping violations summary.

I didn't expect to win this on the last day as I could see I was a little behind. But by pure luck, I picked Victoria Carl. It somehow payed off, haha. 

 

Thank you for your work and effort with making daily polls and also with the pre-olympic polls. I know it takes time. I had fun participating in them. It was an entertaining and fun element to my Olympic experience this time. 

 

I'm glad to see we have a community here on the forum where we can create these fun and entertaining elements to add to our Olympic experience, and that many users have shown great interest in it.

 

P.s. I'm looking forward to taste the good Polish vodka, @rafalgorka.
