Erst erzählt er, dass Wellbrock jetzt bei Olympia über 800m starten darf (obwohl dieser die Zeit von Klemet in Magdeburg klar verpasst hat) und jetzt bedauert er, dass Leonie Märtens vermutlich die 1500m Qualifikation verpasst (obwohl diese die Norm ebenfalls schon hat)

      Kristjan Archer crashes out of the tournament in the first round and will finish in 11th place. He was the 2nd highest seed in the tournament based on world ranking but wasn't at his best in the pool matches. In stark contrast, Julia Caron was undefeated in her pool and moved into the knockout rounds as the 2nd seed and as such was given a bye to the quarter finals where she defeated Anna Zens of Luxembourg. Later today, she'll be up against Israel's Dar Hect in the semi-finals.

      Добро се борио, надам се да ће наставити и у следећем циклусу. Ваљало би да каријеру употпуни барем једним одласком на Игре. У Загребу се, према очекивању, за нас други дан завршио пре финалног блока. Јована Чакаревић уписала победу. Шогенов пријатно изненадио, победио Латишева, који важи за великог талента, а и против Григалашвилија је пружио добру борбу. Мада је Тато слабио радио тај меч, личио ми је на Мајдова, ширио руке на судијске одлуке, уместо да напада покушао да навуче казне противнику. На крају Ислам није ни имао среће, није успео да ишчупа рукав, а овај му је спаковао џуџи брзином муње. Сутра седморо наших. Игор Врачар има Словенца у првој рунди, добар противник да покаже да ли је сазрео за овај ниво. Ако прође у 1/8 је без шанси. У -100 обојица имају добар жреб. Од Кукоља очекујем да дође до 1/4, где би га чекао Каниковски - Рус са две главе и четири руке. Може да се умеша у борбу за медаљу. Дошен у 1/8 има Корела, којег никад није победио, али мислим да има шансе ту, 1/4 - Адамиан. Брашњовић добио Естонца, који је класа борца коју би Брашњовић требао да почне да побеђује редовно.       I never thought the likes of Marley or Clancy were medal contenders to be fair. Now once you’re in the Olympics, you can get an Aidan Walsh type draw and medal, but I’ve always said that most needed a good draw to have any chance. Harrington remains the only one of the current squad who has won a world championship medal at an Olympic weight, and that tells a story. There aren’t many who’ve got out of the prelims Aoife O’Rourke has been unlucky with draws in her two previous global events, but she’ll be a strong medal contender. Two from boxing would be a great return As would 4/5 overall considering we’ve only earned more than 3 four times in our history. O’Donovan & McCarthy remain the only Irish entrants where I’d be shocked if they didn’t win a medal. Everyone else is either a contender we hope improves (Wiffen, Adeleke, the rowing pairs/doubles) or in a sport where one second can change everything (boxers, McClenaghan) The great part is that unlike most years we do have about 12-15 (you can add sailing, Lara Gillespie, Ben Healy, rugby team, the equestrian teams etc) who are contenders, even if outside shots. The more of those you have, the more medals you’ll win over time
