  1. Men’s and Women’s 4x100m medley relay teams have qualified as of this morning’s heats at the World Champs! May beed another male swimmer to swim an OCT/OST to allow us accept the men’s quota though
  2. Rob Hendrick not selected for C1 Slalom for second consecutive games after again securing the spot at World Championships.
  3. Great performances by both teams at the Perth 7s. Hopefully can develop some consistency over the season and translate it into a good performance in Paris! Definite medal contenders now in both - the draw will be vital.
  4. Heartbreak for the women's team - had an amazing tournament. Fantastic to see the men's team qualify!
  5. Half time in the Play-Off in Valencia 3-2 Too close to call.
  6. Both men and women’s hockey teams 1 win (with 2 chances) away from Paris. Competition definitely tough but they have really been playing well so far in their tournaments. Fingers crossed to have the biggest ever Irish Olympic team!
  7. Tournament 1 (Valencia, Spain) Day 2 Pool A 7-0 5-1 Pool B 2-2 2-0
  8. Just to update this Women’s 200m Breaststroke Gold- Kate Douglass (2:19.30/AR) Silver- Lilly King (2:24.34) Bronze- Mona McSharry (2:25.84) Kate had an incredible swim but wasn’t quite so far ahead of her competitors!
  9. Ranchi Results - Saturday, January 13th Pool A 3-0 2-0 Pool B 3-0 0-1 Stand out result being USA's shocking the hosts. Gives India a lot of work to do. Valencia pool B games pending.

  12. Would love to see Ciara win a well deserved medal in the 1500m. Definitely would be an emotional medal for Ireland - but equally every Olympic medal is emotional for us because they are so scarce!
