Ohtani has had an elbow surgery on September 19th but should resume hitting come 2024 season. He probably won't pitch until 2025 season though.

I really don't know why FIM has picked India as the new GP venue? Did the manufacturers tell them to go there in order to boost sales? Some of these new ideas backfired before even staging a single race, Finland, Kazakhstan and people probably forgot about that circuit in Wales that was supposed to replace Silverstone on MotoGP calendar

I thought isn't that bad to be losing by over 60 points even to

@Henry_LeonFunny how never seems to be using that elevation advantage anymore (except 1994 WC quals). Or did they ban them from playing in La Paz too often?

It's official, Fernando Santos has been fired as the manager of national team

Yeah, that was some thriller in the end. Jets offense is toast with Zach Wilson but the defense is definitely elite. Don't bet any money on Bills making a deep run in the playoffs, if Tua avoids injuries they could be in a battle just to make a wild card in AFC behind the Dolphins.

@rybakAre you really surprised? More of fucking Krychowiak and other has-beens in NT
wins 2-0. Good for them.
Some heads could roll soon. The shitstorm will be just picking up more steam. This bunch of clowns is going nowhere and Lewandowski is 35 year old while being happy to keep his circle of buddies in NT.

Extremely weird take. Argentina just won the world cup with grandpa Messi and a bunch of role players. Morroco and Croatia also did a lot better than Germany despite having inferior talent. Same goes for Italy at the 2020 european championships. Germany still has Ter Stegen, Rüdiger, Kimmich, Goretzka, Gündogan, Musiala, Sane, Gnabry, Havertz (and Wirtz), who are all playing for top 10 clubs. Argentina/Croatia/Morocco in 2022 or Italy at the 2020 european championships all didn't have that.
Germany usually had its star players and they did it their own way Right now they have nobody and I mean nobody. Sane is nowhere near being a world class player in the NT team.
Btw, it's really rock bottom if you have to bring up Morocco of all countries to validate whatever Germany should be doing in football

It's a lenghty problem to fix. Apparently Nagelsmann will come to save the day now but in reality the German NT doesn't even the depth available to challenge for major trophies anymore. Leroy Sane hasn't developed into a world class player whatsoever and we all know Werner/Havertz are not there either. It's almost as bad as the late 90s/early 00s when the team was pulled by Ulf Kirsten in his mid 30s and Carsten Jancker (before Miroslav Klose emerged).

Word is Hansi Flick has been fired as NT manager. What an utter disaster this has been but the problem clearly lies with the players available IMO. Germany went ahead of the curve with development in the 2000s which allowed them to cash in for the 2014 World Cup but the world has changed since then and Germany has been clearly left behind.

lost at home to 1-4
They are really miles removed from being a top team these days. Can only wonder what happens when they host the Euros next. Guess Bayern winning gazillion Bundesliga titles is totally worth crap for the NT. Even Hanis Flick can do shit with the mighty players like Emre Can and Nico Schlotterbeck

beat 27-13 in the opener.
I assume is the favorite to win Pool B so this puts New Zealand into their path now?

Pick & roll and rebounding can still win you games? Who would have thought that?

Same old Lions? The hype might be genuine as they take down Chiefs 21-20 helped by some epic blunders from Kadarius Toney in particular!

If Zelensky says Poland is pro-Russia he's either completely lost his mind or plays a bigger political game. I suspect it's the latter so he's seeking support from wealthier countries than Poland. It's his choice but that would also mean the end of widespread public support for limitless Ukrainian immigrants in Poland.
