The Monaco Grand Prix is supposedly the most prestigious race. But few people remember the winners, unlike the Indy 500 whose winners are revered. Also the race itself is often boring. The Daytona 500 is the msot viewed race in the United States. But it has very random winners, unlike the Indy 500 where only the top drivers win. The problem with the Indy 500 is that drivers are little known. Dixon and Power aren't nearly as popular as the Andrettis and Unsers two decades ago. The other IndyCar races have very few viewers.

Back to Olympic qualifiers, I think that world rankings should never replace qualifier tournaments. In a qualifier, any team has the chance to win. Meanwhile, many world rankings are rigged so the top teams get invited to tournaments and get more ranking points (I'm looking at you, volleyball). The world championship can be used to qualify teams at large, but regional quotas should be compulsory.

International baseball isn't a big thing because the Major League Baseball refuses to release players. Imagine if Panama hosted the United States national team... it would be a national holiday.

Ceibos is based in Córdoba. Selknam and Cafeteros are basically national teams. The other three are football clubs. All teams but Cafeteros will play a double round robin. The top four teams will play semis and final, whereas the bottom ranked team will play Cafeteros.

The three windows will be February 20-24, November 26-30, and February 18-22.
