easy work for Egypt just as expected with all due respect to Croatia they r a great team
funny though how most people dismissed egypt chances just for the absence of one player (yahya khaled)
his replacement mohsen ramadan scored 6 goal i think and mohab saeed scored a goal
if egypt can keep this form nobody can stop them other than the usual 3 france denmark and spain
You're certainly forgetting Sweden and Norway

tbh, it's just a very lucky guess...I remember I saw a TV reportage when that record was established.
and I'm still confused...why someone should do such kind of crazy effort? I'm still asking myself...
I actually know a former Danish record holder in the 24 hour running

beating is sort of upset, isn't it?
Also I didn't expected and didn't predicted too that Egypt might win over Croatia.
I called it in the prediction contest!
Pretty huge for the US but they actually did decently in the friendlies befor the tournament while Morocco really aren't that strong

I am still very excited to visit the Games. I am sure France will manage this.
But I can't find an accommodation yet. Surely not all hotels will be sold out yet?
A lot of hotels only allow bookings about a year in advance. Check back during the spring, maybe even the start of the summer.

2023 The Ocean Race started in Alicante today with in-port race.
This year it's very important for Lithuania, as it's a first time Lithuanian team is competing in the race. Lithuania represented by Ambersail 2 crew with the skipper Rokas Milevičius (2012 Olympics) who previously finished 2nd in Ocean Race with Dutch team back in 2015.
Looking forward to seeing the stop-by in Aarhus!

but this idea for opening ceremony is not good for safety reasons, i will not attend for sure even if sb give me golden circle tickets
Is it really much worse than the annual Tour de France ending on Champs Elysees?

Denmark is nothing special for a while. They got the feel good boost after the Eriksen cardiac arrest @ Euro but it's only a storyline and not much else.
Seriously? Losing the Euro semi final after a BS penalty, even after the near death of the captain, dominating the qualification for the Worlds, beating France twice in the Nations league...
This was the strongest Danish team in a damn long time just until this Championship, not necessarily the players considering the playing time in their teams, but the collective has been terrific all the time since the Euro.

Some tough ones there in Sweden. Would agree about Van der Poel in bot årets manliga idrottare and årets prestation. Jonna Sundling would be my pick for året kvinnliga idrottare. Årets Nykomling is very close between Linn Grant and Hellvig/Åhman. Årets Ledare also close, but I would say Johannes Lukas

Fair enough. Would just say that quite a lot of experts have Sweden among the main contenders, at least in front of Spain and close to or above France as the main challenger to Denmark (have you seen what a beast Jim Gottfridsson have been lately?). Egypt shouldn't be underestimated but at least Sweden are in front of them by quite a bit. Norway as well if they manage to pull things together.
