VDP/Alpecin missed the break in the peloton
The only one of the main favourites to really miss out, Van Aert was just in time to make the jump. The 'shadow favourites' like SK Andersen can be counted out now because of this extra work, and some "maybe maybe maybe outsiders" like Grmay, Sagan and I think Vanmarcke are in that group as well.
Though to be fair Søren has been a bit ill during the week. He was pretty much all-out help for VDP today.

Van der Poel wasting his strongest riders early. Bad day for Søren Kragh

I enjoy my authoritarian regime though, helps me make a bigger impact on the music that I think often gets overlooked in this contest.
But that is very very subjective dependent on who you ask
Now you just make me miss the good old committee-days!

I don't know why, but I think that my and the Danish juror tastes in music are so well meshed together, that I always feel like I did something wrong when Lithuania fails to score from Denmark
Guess that's what I get for sending pop
It's certainly a strange competition. Nothing for and nothing for
You were my personal 1st reserve, though

That's 2 of the last 3 out of the 0's. I can say that was pretty close as well

Good stuff!
Training has been very much on/off for me since the summer. Politics took away most spare time meaning that I didn't run much for the last 3 months of last year.
But I'm getting some pretty good runs in the last couple of months giving hope for a good half mara this summer.
Did manage my best 5k since 2020 last weekend (24:09) and have started adding some kms.
Have had a bit of back issues as well. Doing a bit of core training to help.

Well, just got the email. My timeslot is 3rd-5th. I'll try scramble a pack the best I can, but from what I've seen there really is no hope. It looks as if a lot of people have jibbed it after Day 4 when the cheep tickets sold out. I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are way more than 7 million tickets available in the next phase. If someone could message me with what's left or reply on here then that'd be great.
I believe that's what's left.

Got through my first pack. Not quite what I hoped for but decently happt (hoped for men's rugby finals or men's golf considering what I heard about availability).
Feels nice to get some rugby and athletics and the volleyball session is decent and leaves room for something later the same day (well, it does mean no 20 km race walk for me)
30.07 - Rugby Sevens - Women's medals session
01.08 - Volleyball - Women's early match
06.08 - Athletics - Morning session
May log in tomorrow to see if I'm lucky to get something that others had in the basket while I checked.

Got pulled today! Tuesday is a terrible day to have the start of the window, but I'll try finding some time.
My expectations aren't high. Will most likely end up buying one pack this time and hope to be able to fill it up later.

It is great, I was not thinking people will buy some session so quickly. For example expensive athletics without any medal finał, team sport like voleyball and handball (2 marchew, and you could have 2 week team like from Africa)
I had a blast watching Great Britain play handball in 2012

Looks like it won't be that hard to make a first package, but second may need some creativity for me!

Thanks. Maybe I will buy sth later.
It's still very early. We're not even a week into the first round. You'll get your chance.

@Agger you said jn London you were on the last minute, as I remember corrextly. Any advices? People will sell this tickets later? In the nearly same prices you bought there?
Nah. Think I got 6 or 7 tickets through the first draw. Then I won one ticket, got one or two during later stages in the central ticketing and one or two through the national reselling. The only last-minute ticket was for the men's handball final. Was quite a surprise to get that one.

Am I only unlucky person?
I think we're plenty left to be picked in here.

Would it be right to expect tickets in all categories to be stocked back up for futures draws + stages? I believe Birmingham did something similar for Commonwealth Games, where they release additional tickets after so many days.
I would be very surprised if any categories are completely sold out already. Sounds like some events had very little cheap tickets.

But what should they communicate about? "Here you go, Russia. Just keep the lands that you stole?". Let's be pretty damn honest. That's the very least that Russia will do with. And if we say that, I can assure you that it's just a matter of time before they go for the next piece of territorial gain.
