  1. It is nonsense that the protocols were made in November and December 2020. During the second wave. But since then, the behavior of athletes has changed completely, a million different competitions held under completely different rules. And now they are returning to the rules almost 9 months ago. Nonsense. Especially since most athletes are vaccinated,

  11. I am thinking of creating a point system, to create a kind of a league counting all olympic sports results effecting in one table. My idea is this: for every Olympic final teams will be awarded points as follows: 1st-25pts, 2nd-18pts, 3rd-15pts, 4th-8pts, 5th-5pts, 6th-3pts, 7th-2pts, 8th-1pt. For sports that there is no official ranking for positions 5-8, teams that reached quarter finals will be awarded 5pts, as the 5th position takes. In order to make it more "fair" I think to have a multiplier depending on each country's team size and population. I will create an accumulate table containing both numbers and I will create one single ranking depending the positions of each country in those two categories. For example if country A is 5th in population but 10th in team size, that makes 15 in the final ranking. From that final ranking each teams points, in every final, will be multiplied as follows: Teams ranked 1-20: x1 teams ranked 21-50:x2 teams ranked 51-100:x3 teams ranked 101-150: x4 teams ranked 150 and so: x5 Tell me what you think, and maybe someone has a better idea. Improvements needed, and maybe someone would like to help to the calculations. I never done it before, I believe I could make it!

  18. Iran is going to host the 2022 Asian Men's Championship and our handball federation is looking for a coach, they were looking in past 1.5 years but still nothing. they claimed they will announce the coach "next week" something like 10 times already but that "next week" never arrived, under pressure from media finally our federation published a list of their candidates. they claim they were very close to sign with each one of these guys in past 18 months but all of them changed their minds in last moment before signing the contract! money was never the problem. it was mostly because of the coronavirus situation here David Davis Zlatko Babic Aron Kristjansson Fernando Barbeito Slavko Goluza Vladimir Sola Michael Biegler so there is a job opening here, if any of you guys know something about handball call our handball federation just being European is enough.

  27. A few clarifications: 125- maybe you missed a word, a repeat of 2018 WCh final? Or podium? 98- seems counterintuitive with the negative- imo better without the "not". 61 - probably also better without the negative, "Mongolia will score 10 or less points in all of their matches" if that's what you meant.

  28. Just a couple of remarks. Should question #78 have "all three team events"? Question #112 would sound a lot better with "Italy will finish 6th.", just to avoid a double negation. I know I was the one who suggested it.

  32. But what does a 2014 or 2015 result matter when predicting 2021? It doesn't... I think if there's one user here who is absolutely not a 'hater' and definitely able to look at all athletes from a neutral point of view (instead of giving higher chances to one's own favourites), it's our Brazilian friend.

  35. For WAG, situations change rapidly. The last major event is 2019 WCh which is no more a effective indicator let alone 2018 and before. Biles is for sure medal contender for all events, but for beam especially, it’s more unpredictable than other 3 events. And also you need compare recent D scores of opponents, Biles no longer have advantage on it and also she consistently have some minor mistakes on beam recently. So her score in US internal event is around 15.0 and it’s lower than Chinese theoretical score recently. If Chinese successfully finish whole routine without obvious mistakes they can achieve above 15.3. Some Chinese girls can achieve it but not consistently so China send a huge beam favored team to bet at least one of them can achieve it on court. So this the current situation for beam.

  36. 16 https://24.kg/english/199839_Aiaal_Lazarev_secures_berth_at_Olympic_Games_in_Tokyo/ Athletics - 2 (-2) Fencing - 1 Judo - 1 Shooting - 1 (+1) Swimming - 1 Weightlifting - 1 Wrestling - 9 (+1) Benolympique this NOC's website is beyond useless. The only thing I've been able to find is a news agency report from the country. This refers to 17 berths but I'm certain that they are counting the fact that their swimmer has qualified for two events as separate "berths". I think we can be pretty sure their number of athletes is 16 which is how many they actually name.

Ah, ITG, who seem to have some sort of OCD which forces them to always have to write 'here', because for some reason they think their articles are more valuable if they write them from a hotel in the city of an event Really the only sort of professional written media I know who always have to mention they are present
