Christopher Morales Williams  just broke the indoor 400m WR during the SEC Championships in Fayetteville with a 44.49.

Previous best was Michael Norman's 44.52.

Don't want to throw shade on him but he's an absolutely random guy, at least for breaking a WR  No credential to his name. Still young though, only turning 20 in August. Previous best from last year : 45.48 as a u20. 45.39 indoors this year. 

Michael Norman's record was never ratified because there was no doping test. With Morales's time also not ratified it means the WR still belongs to Kerron Clement.

The weirdest thing I saw was the quarterbacks deciding to simply throw the ball out of bounds and still getting a restart from that?. 

Yes, because you have four downs to gain 10 yards or whatever number is left. A throw away results in a "restart" from the very same spot as the previous down.
