Don't know what the record is for the lowest turn-out, but i'm sure we can take it. :d Around 17:00 the result is 26% turn-out. :roflmao: EU elections are so far away from the people here. They know, that very, very little of what happens in the EU, can solve their problems, so why bother. Holiday weekend, good weather, many tourism in and out of the country, these elections were in the back-burner.

And the 'Grüne' almost doubled, meh.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

I always find it sort of interesting or 'funny' that the lowest turnouts in European elections are usually in countries of which 75% of the people here (if not more) probably don't even know they're part of the EU :p Sort of seems to work both ways :d

I suppose so. :p People are just not that motivated for EU elections. Even the parties don't give there all, like in the local/national elections. We will have 17 people, if it's 30 or 70%, doesn't matter.
