What a day to go to a political event meaning missing ice hockey!

Completed my second 5k. 33:38.
I knew there was a lot of time left in the bag, as the last time I only aimed for a completion, but still I am pretty pleased with the time.
This is all on treadmill though. I have zero clue on how it translates outside. It will be a steep learning curve.

Vollering is fine, as SD Worx communicated today. They could have done that earlier...
Anyhow, during the weekend Puck Moonen - who is totally not getting yearly contract renewals because of her semi-modelling but totally because of her results - actually finished an international race for the first time since 2019, instead of DNF'ing everything.

The main issue seems to be the referees!

Ireland in 1996 after their seventh Eurovision victory.....
Ireland in 2022.... holding onto the crown but it's rusted and decayed and all signs of life are deader than dead

A miracle that we haven't seen a major injury looking at how slippery it is!

Great stuff, @dcro!
I'm back on the half marathon plan. Have struggled a bit with injuries during the year but I'm at 16 km so far meaning that it's getting retty close.
I don't expect to get close to my PB from the first lockdown, but about 2 hours should be possible and just making it through a half marathon mass run will be great!

So today I ran my first 5k in 36:47.
It's nothing nothing to write home about, nevertheless it's a decent prep for a local B2Race next month for which I have entered.
It's a team race, and there is no doubt that I will be one of the discard scores. But hey, maybe I'll get to pick a medal for somebody else's work, in a true business style!

Interesting contest
Firstly: congratulations to @Vektor for one of if not the most technically executed contests, it was super easy and entertaining to follow, very smooth grand final.
Congratulations to Spain for their first ever win and to Ireland and Great Britain for their continuous success in these contests to land on a podium yet again.
Congratulations to our team, we did it @Agger @Wumo @catgamer @Glen I think it's very fun to share this victory with you since our team is pretty much comprised of the OG's that have been with TISC since the very beginning
As for Lithuania, well 14th place is not bad, sad we didn't hit the 100 points, many jurors liked the Lithuanian song, but nobody loved it.
I thought that I wouldn't enter a Gebrasy song again, but it's nearly three years since I'm working with my new producer and best friend Faustas and I just wanted to showcase something from that part of my life, though the biggest pain was deciding between "Where'd You Wanna Go?" and "Into Your Arms", though I'll never find out which would've been a correct decision
We'll continue to release new music and we're already working on a single for Summer, it's going to be in Lithuanian, I gladly invite you to follow our journey, but for TISC, I think I'll much rather prefer to highlight other artists in our music scene.
