  1. My feeling when these (and Giro/Tour de France ones) come up AGAIN - especially in the middle of some live broadcast:
  2. Wait, Piqué was behind fucking up the Davis Cup? I'm going to fill another glass for our French friend and one for myself, fuck you Piqué.
  3. I'm not sure what he did to France but I don't much care because anyway I am going to offer you a nice tasty glass in agreement, cheers!
  4. I am honestly stunned that in a country where people are obligated to use masks (instead of obligating people to come and give their masks to medical personell, but that's another point, of course it doesn't count for the not so effective self-made masks that are mostly just to feel safe), they can't find a way to say "Ok, because of these circumstances we can start the new government without everyone having to be physically together in one room for this one time"
  5. UFC 223 - Khabib vs Iaquinta prelims of 7 April 2018. I managed to start watching right in time to not be two years behind yet It feels so weird to be watching that as if it's 'live' for me, since I avoided all spoilers for two years and that is actually the 'UFC-time' I live in
  6. For equestrian or for rowing? Because generally everyone says the exact same thing about every sport Having competition 'milage' under your belt is important in any sport to perform well..
  7. But first I'm finishing Sex Education. It might be cheesy at times, sure, but it is simply quite a good emotional rollercoaster with a little bit of humour mixed in here and there.
  8. Awesome! Season 3 finally appeared on Netflix here a few weeks ago, so after waiting forever and because of that having to watch the first two seasons again basically, I can see how it goes on
  9. Those first two photos are the most insane, all those politicians coming together even now....come on. They are giving the worst possible example, and no, wearing some face masks (that medical people could have used if these people didn't all go there) doesn't make it any better.. Idiots. Just like the people who went on the street here a few days ago to 'applaude for the healthcare workers'. Come on, really? You need to do that with 30+ people next to each other?
  10. Why? There won't be any elections this year
  11. Yeah, saying this and that is fake news is pretty much the most he can do, we've grown used to it
  12. Well if she didn't know how to do that after years and years of Red Bull athletes showing totally not obvious what they were drinking....
  13. Last weekend's Cheltenham Gold Cup had tens of thousands of people on the stands as well. Wonderful idea.
  14. My fellow drunks @OlympicIRL and @hckosice welcome you
  15. Because hosting European championships is most likely easier than hosting Olympics. Having it right after the Olympics makes no sense, I agree, but then again: it's only the European championships, they never feel like that many people and athletes really care
  16. Yeah, if there's one group that wants these things and is better with stuff like internet and computers than the average population, it's generally minors
  17. I would think "because sex is not a moral thing" or some bullshit like that, which one would expect as much from strict Muslim countries as authoritarian countries
  18. Wait what, porn is not blocked by a million ways as a standard situation in China?
  19. I think for a vast majority of countries, discrepancy in numbers is mostly due to the chaotic nature of the whole situation and not so much a matter of the big leader saying "Ok, 500 cases? Let's just say 348 instead." That might be the case somewhere, but I highly doubt that's the case everywhere.
  20. Here comes the post-lockdown peak.
  21. Yes, I've made a list of all real sports events going on this year to help you. Here it is:
  22. We can all laugh about it, but there's a pretty good point behind it: do we really want to give extra business opportunities for shady/criminal street dealers? They'll be active anyway of course, but every little thing that helps keep their numbers in check counts.
  23. And potentially let it raise it's head back up once lockdown is lifted and the economy (and things like, you know, people's income) is totally destroyed. Let's hope the experts who predict that for countries that go on total lockdown are wrong.
