    Canoe Slalom -

    Didn't expect a Canadian medal chance :d

  2. Canada also declined men's RS:X quota. Who is next in line?

This decision seems strange, but in Canada results speak. If you send an athlete and they finish so low, your funding will suffer. In events with less boats, the athletes have a chance of placing in top 20. For ex. finishing 19/20 in an event is better than 37/50 (even though you were much further away from last).

Thanks for sharing! This covers the withdrawn quotas + unused individual quotas.

Some seem a bit random though, for example Uruguay in women's.

@konig like we said, there is always a hope for doping reallocation in weightlifting.

And Greece got a men's spot (even though their athlete is in the top 15 ?)

This also removes a lot of wild card countries and also increases the chances the chances of countries like Bangladesh to get one.

  4. " If the NOC qualified through the 2014 and 2015 IWF World Championships, the quota place will be reallocated to the best ranked NOC at the 2014 and 2015 IWF World Championships, not yet qualified."

    - So we are looking at:

    Men:

    +1

    :ISR Israel

    :AUT Austria

    :BEL Belgium

    :NRU Nauru

    :LBA Libya

    :MGL Mongolia

+2 more (as more than 2 are tied on 0 points).

Completely unfair as they modified the qualification criteria after they were published... originally players (including tripartite places) were supossed to compete in at least 3 tournaments to be able to play in Rio.

Yea, the BWF wrote not eligible beside his name (then updated it ).
