Hello everyone! Any updates on the allocation of tripartite invitations for each sport? I have only noticed that Tripartite Commission has invited athletes in the artistic and rhythmic gymnastics thus far. The confirmation of shooters for Rio 2016 and the distribution of Tripartite Invitational Places in shooting would have already been done last week, but the list of quota places per NOC is still not updated until now. Is this possible that the deadline of shooters might be extended to a later date?

    This is pretty self explanatory...

  2. Aaron Brown with a 20.00 in the men's 200.

Brandon McBride with a 1:44.63 in the men's 800 (world leading time).
Damien Warner hit 8.04 in the long jump

RT @Statman_Jon: So far in 2016, @DamianWarner has set PBs of:

    46.64; 400m
    50.25m in the discus
    8.04m in the LJ

if he hits all his personal bests in Rio he will get 9101 points!

World Champs Barber and Drouin won at the Drake relays (though at heights less than what they are used too)

Any news on Oldershaw/Van Koeverden/Giriard yet? I mean, anything official?

Oldershaw/Van Koeverden will try to qualify next month. However the stupid rules in the canoe category means only the C2 or C1 can go... with both boats being roughly the same in strength.

Girard I believe is officially retired. Even then I would send Nadeau who with selections from other teams could be an outside medal contender.

Nevermind, USA and France are actually already qualified.

We already know that 4th continent will come in men's event, this means that USA qualifies. Furthermore, there is only one tripartite place on offer for men's OR women's event. Tripartite quotas can only be assigned to gymnasts that competed at 2015 World Championships. There we no tripartite nations in women's event so France is assured of quota.

In men's event we only had Angola at the World Championships (from tripartite nations). If they applied, they will get it, as simple as that.

But does Angola meet technical standards?
