  1. Game pretty much over. are going to Paris. Congrats @lapaj
  2. Still undefeated after day 2, with a 10-6 win over United States to move us to 3-0!
  3. Draw 4 Results 12 - 4 6 - 4 10 - 6 6 - 4 Team Hasselborg starts 0-3 (ok they did have a tough opening couple of matches… but I was expecting at least one win)
  4. Draw 3 Results 8 - 7 9 - 6 4 - 10 8 - 6
  5. Mary-Sophie Harvey records a 4:36.79 400 IM at the Giant Series! About a half second away from her PB, and puts her into firm contention for the second Olympic spot (behind McIntosh of course)
  6. I still can’t believe this team won the Japanese Trials…
  7. For me South Africa for men, and China for women. But I’d be more than thrilled with Great Britain qualifying.
  8. Hopefully. As much as I love Spain (and all of our Spanish users on here), all of the team quotas obtained by them so far throughout this Olympic Qualification period has me actively root against them. I’d rather a team like Great Britain (three team quotas) or South Africa (two team quotas) qualify. Plus, as a neutral fan (that and knowing that Canada has no chance at qualifying) I’d rather see the best team at an event like the Olympics, and right now South Africa is at a level above the other two.
  9. Somehow got sprint and keirin confused.
  10. Personally, I’d say even more than a contender. Right now she’s the favourite for gold at Paris (very slightly), and even if she doesn’t win gold I don’t see her missing the podium. But who knows, the Olympics always tend to produce a lot of surprises
  11. All matches are live-streamed on the IHF YouTube channel, free of charge. Might be geo-blocked for some countries. https://m.youtube.com/@IHFcompetitions/streams
  12. Snowboard Cross WC Montafon | Montafon, Austria Men Gold- Alessandro Hammerle Silver- Leo Le Ble Jaques Bronze- Julian Lueftner First non-podium of the season for Grondin Women Gold- Michaela Moioli Silver- Charlotte Bankes Bronze- Josie Baff Full Results
  13. Dual Moguls WC Valmalenco | Valmalenco, Italy Women Gold- Jakara Anthony Silver- Jaelin Kauf Bronze- Elizabeth Lemley Men Gold- Mikael Kingsbury Silver- Takuya Shimahawa Bronze- Nick Page First career WC podium for Shimahawa! Full Results
  14. Fireworks at The Ten in the women’s 10000m, with Tsigie Gebreselama clocking a 29:48.34! So fast that it’s the 9th fastest time in history!
  15. Quota alert! Mo Ahmed breaches the men’s 10,000m Olympic standard in athletics clocking a 26:53.01 at The Ten!
  16. World Athletics didn’t make a mistake. Boston Marathon doesn’t count as a World Athletics recognized course whether for records or Olympic qualification due the excessive amount of downhill sections. However, as it’s a Platinum level event if they had placed within the top five they would have qualified for Paris.
  17. Last bit of spam for today, Mikael Kingsbury won men’s dual moguls gold in Valmalenco for his 90th career WC victory! Probably could get to 100 by the end of next season assuming he doesn’t get injured.
  18. Carlos Alcaraz defeats Jannik Sinner 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 to advance to the Indian Wells final. Alcaraz continues on his 11 match winning streak here, while Sinner’s undefeated 2024 season (17 consecutive wins) comes to an end.
  19. Standings After Day 1 Team Homan (2-0) Team Tirinzoni (2-0) Team Ueno (1-0) Team Morrison (1-0) Team Constantini (1-0) Team Peterson (1-1) Team Rørvik (0-1) Team Hasselborg (0-1) Team Gim (0-1) Team Dupont (0-1) Team Turmann (0-1) Team Yıldız (0-1) Team Smith (0-1)
  20. Team Homan start off the Women’s Curling Championships in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada with two wins, defeating Sweden 7-6 and Denmark 7-4.
  21. Alcaraz with a killer drop shot to take the second set 6-3, after Sinner took the first 6-1! We’re going the distance!
  22. Draw 2 Results 10 - 3 4 - 7 6 - 4 8 - 4
  23. @phelps what would need to happen for to qualify in women’s team epee?
