I guess they will do some sublicencing just like in Norway. Haven't heard anything, but it seems like it's a pretty new deal. I believe we've had it on Eurosport in the past as well.

And yeah, Gytkjær has been doing pretty well :)

Gytkjaer will leave Lech in the summer. Before the pandemic break there was some speculation he could join Malmoe FF next.

and Alon Turgeman Nowdays  he played at the club that i support here before he moved to play in Austria and now he is on loan there which is nice

Ah yes, I forgot about him. He got injured after like two games though. I suppose he might be healthy again after the pandemic break.

Got my wisla krakow scarf ready :p:yes (I really have one)

Yeah, I find it hardly surprising Krakow clubs earn some support from Israel ;)  Wisla hasn't had any Israeli players since Maor Melikson or Dudu Biton ca. 8-10 years ago IIRC.

Can you see who has the rights in Denmark? Haven't been able to find anything but Danish, Faroese and German football in the schedules.

Something called Spring Media agency which covers both Sweden & Denmark. I have no idea how SM operates on the Danish market, obviously.

It's worth to be noted the current top scorer of the Ekstraklasa is :DEN Christian Gytkjaer (15 goals in 24 matches) :p

Macau is a model and China wants Hong Kong exactly to be like that. Protesters will eventually give in but not directly give in, still a long show to see.

Yeah, Macau is silently making all the business profit so I don't see how HK protesters will ever succeed with their actions tbh.

Yeah, don't be sure about this season being held at all.

If there is one competition format which will suffer the most right now, then that is definitely any given WC format, where athletes are required to travel from country to country on weekly basis.

Spain, for example, has already cancelled their equestrian 2020/21 WCs, scheduled for December...

The season will go ahead even if half of it would be staged in Poland  Wisla has been bitching about the November date since forever, they'd like to host the event in January like they did before but due to Zakopane being the bigger shark they could only hope for one mid-week competition. Full back-to-back weekends in Wisla and Zakopane are something that hasn't happened on World Cup yet.

China wants Hong Kong to be Singapore but Hong Kong protesters want Hong Kong to be Taiwan. It's the main contradiction, so the show will continue and last a long time.

Didn't like Great Britain use Hong Kong like Singapore before aka financial off-shore paradise? China plays the capitalist game despite keeping the communist fasade so I suppose Hong Kong will eventually have to give in. Btw, isn't Macau basically China's Singapore already?

  8. Polish Ekstraklasa returns next weekend and some streaming services from around the Europe have bought the rights to show some games live. Apparently Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Israel have bought the rights.

I see Direktesport lists three games on their site already:

Lech - Legia is obvious Polish league classic, like Roma vs Juventus or Bayern vs Hamburg.

Ugh, another moderate :( These two were the most conservative Democrats in the race (outside of Tulsi Gabbard). We don’t even get a non-white candidate for a major office.

Biden has so much support among black voters, he doesn't need to pick a running mate of color, period.

Right, so there's an award for athlete of the year, but when said athlete does something they find 'immoral' or whatever (not cheating, not going out and hurting other people), they're just gonna rebrand the whole thing? That is some weak shit.

Sport is about role modelling. I haven't heard anyone talking about prostitution as the best job available for college athletes? :p

Ah, we've arrived at the point where it's time to easily judge people struggling with severe mental disorders. Right, enjoy! :)

Severe mental disorder doesn't win you triple Olympic bid. Funny how this only became a thing AFTER she got exposed as a prostitute :p For me it's just a lousy excuse.

The sheer stupidity of people, institutions and companies knows no limits.

Blaming bipolar disorder on becoming a prostitute was the stupid thing   People will try to find all kinds of excuses once their secrets are revealed. Nike sponsoring a high-class escort? Like really?

Darya Klishina, the only Russian allowed to compete in athletics in the 2016 Olympics, said she has gotten a rather....interesting offer. An anonymous American offered her a sum of money to work as...you ain't gonna guess this....an escort :yikes:

"He sent the offer a few months ago in a DM on Instagram, I never expected that. I'm not someone who starts yelling then, so I kindly answered I wasn't interested. He answered by saying "Wait, don't refuse immediately, you don't know the terms yet." It was a pretty large amount of money, 180.000 euro...per month. It kinda made me wonder if I really look like someone who'd accept that."

Yeah, one of Polish tabloids run this story a couple of days ago :p

Is it the right time to remind everyone Suzy Favor Hamilton ended up working as an escort back in the day? :coffee:

Yeah, I’m a little disappointed in him. The GOP has decided to rally around their collective disbelief in science, medicine, and research again. The best way to deal with them is to put out guidelines people who believe in science will follow, and then let those idiots die in the hospital.

I think our governor got too concerned about the economy. He just didn’t want to deal with the blowback from a terrible economic situation. I guess we’ll see what happens in the next few weeks. Hopefully cases don’t go up dramatically.

Exactly. The COVID pandemic is no longer a health issue, it's an economical issue. Capitalism is more important than health, democracy or medicine. It's as simple as that. Trump as life-long businessman understands the power of capitalism. People losing their jobs will be blamed on these Democrat governors who want to keep people locked down for health reasons. This is a no-win contest for the Democrats. Watch other Democrat-run states fall in line and open their ecomony during the summer. They've got no choice no matter what the science says.

Poles do not count. We already know that they are genetically superior and are all vaccinated against measles, which is proven to be 100% effective in preventing a Covid infection.

It's cool. I'm well aware the rich Western Europe countries don't care about Poland. What else is new?

  16. Fun fact, despite the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020 there have been over 4,000 less deaths in Poland than in March 2018 :coffee:

    Deaths in Poland: March 2018: 40,700, March 2020: 36,557.

So yeah, COVID is hardly the end of the world when you look at the numbers :p
