  1. This weekend was extreme: 46 goals, an average of a little over 5 per match Last time there were more in one round of playing was in 1983/84
  2. Really curious what's next, but also cornhole sounds like something I would very much not enjoy. Then again, (apparently) throwing corn is one of the better things to do with it..
  3. Were there so relatively little TV sets in 2006? I mean, 3,6 million was 47,6% apparently, but yesterday 6,1 million was only 46,5%?
  4. Niet om nou enorm ongeduldig te zijn, maar inmiddels is Morrison al 2,5 jaar de coach als ik me niet vergis, en volgens mij is het sindsdien alleen maar bergafwaarts aan het gaan..
  5. Yeah, those stupid Western and totally no other countries like Gabon, Togo, Russia and Burkina Faso "Do you think vaccines are safe?" https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/peteraldhous/global-survey-vaccine-safety-measles-outbreaks
  6. Colombia's world championships team: ELITE: Nairo Quintana Fernando Gaviria Álvaro Hodeg Esteban Chaves Sebastián Molano Sebastián Henao Daniel Martínez Egan Bernal SUB-23: Sergio Higuita Juan Fernando Calle Nicolás Gómez Julián David Molano SUB-19: Miguel Ángel Hoyos Germán Darío Gómez God knows what coach Jaramillo wants with this team, it's as if he just took a random guess at the profile and so decided to bring 50% sprinters and 50% climbers, just in case. Also kinda sad for Higuita to have such a good Vuelta and then have to ride the U23 race.
  7. The only slightly negative point was that I'd hoped Cosnefroy would have won it, what a show he gave. Apart from that, this was pure enjoyment for the past two hours
  8. Van Avermaet with his first World Tour win since his alien 2017 year What a race, this was fun
  9. Flat tyre for Evenepoel with 20k to go. End of an era.
  10. A 19-year old turns on the turbo with 60km to go in Montreal and the entire peloton shits bricks and takes turns to get him back
  11. It was already sure after yesterday of course, but now it's official: Primoz Roglic and Jumbo-Visma won the Vuelta Fabio Jakobsen won the final sprint thanks to some epic work by Quick-Step in the final kilometers. Holy smokes, Cavagna destroyed the asphalt by pulling everyone up to over 70 kmh Then Stybar came in and Richeze showed what an awesome leadout he is by piloting Jakobsen through every potential problem in the last kilometer, that was impressive.
  12. I can promise you that made the (football) news here as well
  13. It really costs 100.000 dollars to send ten athletes and some coaches to the Bahamas? I'd be really, really, really surprised if Miller-Uibo doesn't have a big sponsor or something that could very easily cough that up..
  14. That was a really nice fight by the way Otto Wallin gave Fury a really, really good run for his money and even in the very last round - when Fury had been dominating for a while - he managed to scare him with a hard left and get him into a bit of trouble. This ain't the last we've seen of Wallin
  15. Eurosport really needs to show more (or better: anything at all ) of the rollerskiing World Cup. The sound of rollerskis is relaxing
  16. Like going to one of the billion other places with less risk
  17. Check the fall of IAM rider Simon Pellaud, his handlebars just totally brake
