  1. Although if we're going to bother international federations to get their streaming services in order, FIL is rather low on the list compared to many others IFSC and IBSF are on the top of my list of excellent federations in terms of streaming, but FIL is pretty high too.
  2. 5 Correctly guessed the diving judges and Lady Gaga apparently
  3. Happy 29th February to everyone and especially those who happen to have their birthday today
  4. Not any different than the decent number of countries where it's already in a more advanced stage Join the club
  5. Oceanian taekwondo qualifiers must be one of the most pathetic things in the entire Olympic qualifying cycle...?
  6. 594 new cases today in South Korea (so far), together with Iran and possibly Italy definitely the most worrying spots on the globe at the moment..
  7. If there have to be exceptions, a better option would be to alternate which country has two races in one season. Then again, it's not going to be any other country than Germany, because sports need money to stay alive and that's coming from Germany. I won't be disappointed if they add it for 2026, it'd be fun to see it in one Olympic cycle. But speaking from a neutral perspective, NTL is just really, really not worthy of being a full-time Olympic sport.
  8. Phenomenal day for Hinze.
  9. 1005 gold medals had been given at world championships before this one started, Japan had won 1 in men's keirin and 11 in men's sprint (10 by one rider, consecutively). Yumi Kajihara is making history by winning the women's omnium
  10. I'd be so disappointed if they move the video streaming to Dailymotion. YouTube, sure, but apart from that the one they've got is fantastic. Making natural track luge Olympic, no way Of all the non-international events winter sports automatically has by merit of being winter sports, natural track luge is really the least necessary to include. Let's just start with 5-6 years of good live streaming services and slowly see where it moves. About the maximum tracks per country per season: only if they find a way to do so without decreasing the actual number of events.
  11. Wonderful, the Norwegian case works in a hospital and kept working for two days or so after the first symptoms, in which time she could have had contact with easily 100+ people. https://www.nrk.no/vestland/over-hundre-kan-ha-hatt-kontakt-med-koronasmittet-ulleval-ansatt-1.14922358
  12. Hinze is unbeatable today
  13. Player works excellent here since some hours already
  14. Dutch commentators pretending like it was a big fight just because they were more or less equal at the halfway mark
  15. Tissot fucking things up in one of the main races where the time is actually interesting
  16. Complaining works, the site is fixed
  17. As always at big races/events
  18. Ugh, Tissot's website is once again completely broken down.
  19. Possible, although I've seen plenty of REL's and DQ's for things that were not necessarily an idiotic move (such as Mark Cavendish in Rio, where he utterly destroyed a South Korean rider) as much as a not very smart mistake (as so often happens in the keirin). There is quite the difference between them.
  20. Right, they can hand out the gold to Miho Takagi
  21. Points races are such a huge mess. Inexplicable UCI still doesn't have that in order in terms of easy graphics (and decent TV directing).
  22. Should have done it a bit earlier, but Josef Fendt will retire. https://www.fil-luge.org/en/news/fil-president-josef-fendt-announces-retirement-for-june-2020
  23. I'd prefer to be in 'every corner of the world' than on a place like Pitcairn then though, home of one of the world's most extensive sex scandals.
  24. There have been videos? I'd love to see them! Much like the early keirin rounds in World Cups that are never shown, often there's some DNF's and so on there, but there's no video so nobody really knows whether it was a mistake, a dumb move or an outright idiotic move.
  25. If that were true, he'd have gone well under 4 minutes for 4 kilometers It's the last kilometer's average if I'm not mistaken.
