  1. Oh, she just says the thought had occured because of the situation (not really weird), but that she's still planning to compete this season? (if Google Translate is right )
  2. Searching in Norwegian is impossible for me, so where is Marit talking about retiring now? I don't see it on NRK and that's basically the only Norwegian site where I'm able to search
  3. How often are the Swedes tested if I may ask? (including a source would be nice )
  4. I read wrong, she isn't banned for 2 months, but suspended while in those 2 months the investigation into her actual ban is being made
  5. As expected, not a very long ban for Johaug and rightly so. Still 2 months seems to be somewhat short, I would have gone for long enough to miss out on this winter season. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/norways-johaug-suspended-2-months-092858074--spt.html
  6. Marco Mathis, the little bit surprising U23 ITT world champion, has signed a 2 year contract with Katusha.
  7. Sauber would be pure hell..if it's not Manor then GP2 for another year is better..but the downside of that is that not winning the championship will be seen as not improving. I'm not a big fan of Gasly, but I guess Red Bull has a chance of testing him at TR and throw out Kvyat who has basically just not been performing well/consistent for most of his F1 time.
  8. No I didn't literally mean as reporter I would "report" from the Olympics if I'm there and through a certain Brazilian biathlete maybe get some inside reports from the Olympic village
  9. Combining the Latin alphabet with Cyrillic and Hangul or something? I will spend the next few weeks trying to think of a password that I can remember and that is ok with these rules, and then wait for the ticket news to come in. Thanks
  10. I was starting to worry about it, because sales often start so insanely early It's impossible to find when I have to start worrying about getting biathlon tickets..I don't really care about attending the rest unless it's easily possible.
  11. Why are websites of this kind of events so horribly amateuristic? http://www.pyeongchang2018.com/horizon/eng/index.asp I can't even find the word "Tickets" anywhere..
  12. You mean you will be there as an actual reporter if everything goes well? And seriously, ticket sales already almost expire? You can't even buy tickets in the Olympic season itself?
  13. By the way, in MotoGP we will also see the return of Karel Abraham, as announced today. He will ride on a 2 year old Ducati with the Aspar team. It should be a very interesting MotoGP season with some very talented riders moving into the class and on a decent machine: Jonas Folger and Johann Zarco on the not-so-bad Tech 3 Yamaha and most promising, Alex Rins on the very decent Suzuki alongside Iannone.
  14. There's really not a lot of doubt about Vandoorne's talent, but I am very curious about Stroll..I mean, F3 hasn't been very competitive in the past two seasons (no exception talent or something) and it's mostly because of his billionaire father that he will be in F1 already next year Not seeing he doesn't have what it takes, clearly he is talented, but I doubt he is already good enough.. It will be weird to see F1 without Button, he was in F1 for almost 2/3 of my entire life and I can't imagine a season without him, one of the nicest guys on the grid and one of the most calm drivers out there Massa on the other hand..nah, I won't miss him for a second to be honest. You forgot to mention Nico Hülkenberg has signed with Renault for next year, leaving a place open at Force India and one place left at Renault. Likely candidates for the Renault spot are of course current drivers Magnussen and Palmer, but they might also try and get Ocon or Wehrlein. I would be very surprised if the now open Force India spot doesn't go to one of the two Manor drivers because of the Mercedes connection, both drivers being in the Mercedes program and they're simply very talented (especially Ocon). Hopefully all this moving around means that the arguably biggest talent of them all (looking at the classes with young drivers), Antonio Giovinazzi, will get his chance in F1 next year, he absolutely deserves it
  15. I'll let her know of the support, so she is even more willing to help with special reports
  16. A venue like that is not fair...everyone is distracted by the magnificence shining down from those two photos of the great leaders And me going there depends entirely on a certain Brazilian biathlete qualfiying, if she does, I will go (and of course report on Totallympics and if it's in any way possible, get some special reports from inside the Olympic village )
  17. Hopefully they'll actually be there and it won't look like the world championships there again, that was a pretty sad sight (obviously my big Brazilian flag at the side of the course will lighten things up though )
  18. Bergen should be cool, because Norway is just beautiful and they've got a ton of good riders Innsbruck should be as cool because of the wonderful scenery that's possible around there, a totally different kind of course and so on. Obviously it shouldn't always be a course with hard climbs, so throwing a flat course like Qatar in there (although the sprint was slightly uphill) every now and then is not a bad idea at all, it's not just climbers and hill specialists who are the best cyclists in the world.
  19. As for the Dutch, they performed basically somewhat realistic. Nothing exceptional, nothing horrible. The gold in the women's juniors was nice, the women's elite was a hope for gold but obviously everyone already knew for quite some time that Dideriksen is a hugely talented rider, it was just a matter of time before she'd beat all elite women in a single race. Silver wasn't that bad. We haven't had very promising junior and U23 riders lately so no surprise there, just as it's no surprise at all that Dumoulin didn't perform up to his standards in the time trial. Terpstra did what was expected in the road race (be in a lead group) and Leezer outperformed himself by nearly putting down the stunt of the century as far as world champs road races are concerned. All in all it we saw at least deserved winners. There's not a lot of doubt that Sagan really is the very best cyclist in the world, Dideriksen has been one of the most talented young women for the past three years or so and this win isn't such a huge surprise, Neben..well, she's good and Martin is without any doubt the best time trialist of the past few years.
  20. A Dutch journalist: "The same champion as last year. Wonderful news, it means we can really just forget this week ever happened without losing a world champion." Agree pretty much, this whole week was like some local stage race that even people living at the finish won't get out of bed for.
  21. Oh boy...fight, fight, fight
  22. There's plenty of victories to talk about forever..
  23. No, but in every race he somehow finds a way to turn the conversation towards Boonen
  24. Apparently the Belgian commentator didn't even mention the name Sagan until after the finish as well I would have hated so much to see Cavendish win, seeing Boonen win would have been annoying because their commentator even talks about Boonen in a women's junior race (imagine if he is world champion again..hell no)..seeing Leezer win would have been the best joke ever and seeing Sagan win is just normal but pretty fun
  25. Oh man how awesome it would have been to see Leezer all year next year bringing drinks and giving his bikes to better team mates in his rainbow jersey
