  1. He could indeed just say "wait, you are injured? Ok then, I will not compete while you are injured." I'm sure the Neureuther's and Svindal's of this world would definitely do that and sit out competitions when their rivals are injured That's not "vulturing", that's just bad luck for the others. There's quite a huge difference between the two things. Unless Hirscher went to them and hit them with an iron bar to injure them or something, but I doubt that happened.
  2. You mean, how many times were others just not good enough? Five times when talking about the big globes if I'm not mistaken
  3. That's what happens when you're half-Dutch
  4. Well yes, for Slovakia understandably...
  5. You may have recorded a race and accidentally watched that recorded race every time there was a World Cup on TV? Because I've seen a whole lot of different stuff last year It's like saying every football/handball/water polo match is the same: it's always two teams and often one or more of them makes some goals and in the end there's a winner or a draw.
  6. Exactly, goodbye 30+ degrees and scorching sun all day
  7. And they should absolutely scratch swimming and athletics if otherwise it would be some B-competition again...better not have swimming at all than have a junior competition at the Games
  8. What's hypocritical about that? I may not want a party of a group of friends to be at friend A's place, but that doesn't have to mean I want to host it myself..
  9. I can't wait anymore, let's go let's go let's go, it's winter time
  10. Yeah well after this weekend I guess I'll sleep through to Tuesday, so better not take a chance
  11. Three of the F1 races are in the European evening, so not really during breakfastcoffeewhilereadingthenewspapertime The MotoGP will be in Australia though this week (f*cking early here) and Malaysia after that (somewhat acceptable times)...so it's gonna be a tough weekend in terms of sleep Therefore today = TOISC judging day
  12. Four weekends of F1 and three weekends of Moto3/2/GP to go, and a weekend of World Superbike and a decent number of NASCAR races...
  13. Sorry guys, but one of the 31 non-Netherlands songs won't be listened by me, I just can't bring myself to actually listen more than 5 seconds of the one I mentioned I have given it a note (like I give every song a note) based on how it's in my mind
  14. Moto3/2/GP from 4am until 8am, Formula 1 starting at 20:00 and ending around 23:30 after which there's also NASCAR at Talladega (one of the most awesome races of the year), so, yes
  15. So, one of the songs just brought up some unexpected emotions about the very first time I met my now ex-girlfriend at the airport in Brasilia We only knew each other through internet until then and the song I mean was used in a Youtube video of the first time another couple like that met each other for the first time after "dating" online for a long time I watched that video a million times before I was flying to Brazil and just hearing the first notes of this song now (I didn't hear it in years) brought back all those memories Didn't expect that to happen on a pleasant evening of listening TOISC songs
  16. I'm listening the songs at the moment, I've listend 18 of 32 so far
  17. I don't think Totallympics will freak out over a photo of Lara Gut changing pants at a World Cup finish area Did you travel to an alpine skiing World Cup in Switzerland, beautiful Lara's beautiful country? No? Right, she's mine.
  18. Yeah I guess we have no choice but just get used to saying Veith since that's what she's officially called now Although of course in my mind she'll still be Anna Fenninger for a while (until Veith is what I'm used to, like I can't even imagine seeing a Lindsay Kildow compete )
  19. Well I am an addicted secret Lara admirer, so that's good For obvious reasons I loved Lenzerheide 2014 and especially the views on the "hot seat"
  20. Unworthy range? I'm not entirely understanding what you mean
  21. I think the message was really not clear at all. Only one way to make it clear once and for all: Lara Gut and Anna Veith have to show the same protest or else it will never work
  22. And it won't really change anything at all..I mean, we were already living in the post-Maze era since March 2015, it's not like we will suddenly have to get used to skiing without her
  23. Oh her press conference is already finished by now. So she will come from nowhere to compete in Maribor on 7 January and that (a GS) will be her last race. https://in.news.yahoo.com/2-time-olympic-ski-champion-tina-maze-announces-173345608.html
  24. I prefer retirement over this.. (with World Cup you mean World Championships?)
