  1. I highly doubt that Vinatzer will be in the team event (there's Gross, Moelgg, Tonetti,...). He's the 4th slalom skier and there were only 3 other possible choiches: - reject another quota (imo a stupid choice) - send an old guy like Razzoli (imo also stupid) - send someone like Maurberger, a 22-23yo who is doing well in Europa Cup...but in this way he would have skipped some races in that competition and lost the chance to win a nominal quota for the next world cup. So sending a 18 yo to get experience is not bad at all.

  3. Sprinter Gil Roberts has 'passionate kissing' defense upheld by appeals court
  4. Updates since last night: Andorra + 1 quota, Croatia + 3. No team event for Japan and Serbia.
  5. The document says that the allocation of team event places comes before the other unused quotas. They should have waited a few hours but the result is the same, since and have already refused. Anyway it's good that accepted even knowing that they will be without Ledecka. Also, 22 confirmed for Switzerland
  6. in the team event. They received an additional male quota.
  7. If I'm not wrong, for the names of the athletes they can wait until Sunday but the number of quotas must be confirmed today. As for the numbers given yesterday, they are just an estimate... Italy just confirmed 8 quotas in ski jumping (not 6)
  8. France confirmed all of their 19 quotas. Croatia refused the Team event quota.
  9. https://dna.run Men run dragging a weight. Women have to run with a parachute.
  10. Carla Marangoni has died at age 102. She was the oldest living Olympic medallist (silver medal in gymnastics in 1928) http://www.gazzetta.it/Sport-Vari/Ginnastica/19-01-2018/ginnastica-addio-carla-marangoni-102-anni-medaglia-olimpica-piu-antica-2401010803899.shtml
  11. I don't think there are other federations...every existing FSN is on that list Probably this.
  12. And then you have to modify the list, in which you count only the "sports-related" part of the funding (and there the total is about 141-142) http://www.coni.it/images/1-Primo-piano-2017/Contributi_FSN_2018.pdf
  13. A lot of competitions in the region can be found here http://www.asiva.it/asiva_calendario.aspx?disc=Biathlon. Search for CPI (Coppa Italia). You'll get the results by clicking on the code on the left. For today they should be XB013 and XB014 for men and women.
  14. This could also happen in men's snowboard PGS (a small chance but not impossible) and men's 500m in short track speed skating.
  15. Elena Fanchini said that she has been diagnosed with a tumor http://www.gazzetta.it/Sport-Invernali/Sci-Alpino/Coppa-Mondo-Sci/12-01-2018/sci-elena-fanchini-rinuncia-giochi-una-dura-prova-ma-non-mi-arrendo-240863112577.shtml
  16. 17. Are you sure about the sport? He is not registered for an official sport federation (only an amateur multi-sports association) and the only Pasquale Semeraro that I can find is a master MTB cyclist. Edit: I read that he was caught after this MTB race https://www.bicinpuglia.it/eventi/73 , so he is a cyclist
  18. Tom Dumoulin during Giro d'Italia's stage 16...surely unforgettable!
