Benolympique reacted to thiago_simoes in Artistic Gymnastics FIG World Championships 2019
So, despite some small problems on beam, Belgium is for sure the first team to qualify for Tokyo. I don't quite agree with it because most of their gymnasts are average at best (except for Derwael), but it is what it is. Poor Australia.
As for individual gymnasts, a score of 50+ in the all-around should be more than enough to qualify, so I'd say and have secured individual Olympic quotas.

What an insane night for France, two medals out of nowhere! Somehow they always manage to win some miracle medals in athletics ...
Glad to see Ortega without a medal. Holloway looks like a football player, especially because he doesnt seem to have a neck.

I suppose it will be shortly after WCH. And as is the first country below the line of C1, I guess they will almost surely earn the Quota after reallocation.

Looks like there will be no racing today. If so, then the following nations have secured quota places...
Men's RS:X -
Women's RS:X -
There is a strong possibility that both Oceanian quotas will be unused. In that case also (in men's event) and (in women's event) would qualify...

Still no detailed entry lists available on the ICF site, that´s nothing new from this federation..., but from what I read here and there around the web thanks different national federations websites and their nominations, here my small personal predictions.
M K1 is probably the most open and most balanced category and thus the most difficult to predict.
all should be the favs for the quotas, if anyone othem miss the quota here that should be quite a surprise, but for the next 2 spots I expect a tough battle between with Antoine Launay (I am still not sure if he is eligible to compete at the Olympics though), and with Igor Tsviet, and Mathieu Doby (with favorising Portugal and Ukraine)
M C1, Only 11 quotas available at the Worlds is very hard, Expecting some surprises here. but the main favs for the quotas should be without doubts and . However and are definitely not to be underestimated.
W K1, 18 quotas, and are the strongest bets for the quotas, and the underdogs aspiring for a surprise here
W C1 Since Jessica Fox and Ana Satila will very likely qualify in the K1(same for Viktoriia Us for UKR and Luuka Jones for NZL) will have to believe in the help of her sister Noemie in C1 all should qualify without much problems, but for the remaining 2 spots we can expect some really interesting battle between and
