Modern Pentathlon UIPM World Cup 2019

Recommended Posts

First stage is coming up. Cairo, so the home country of Junior Athlete of the Year 2018 Ahmed El Gendy - winner of everything in 2018 (Junior and Youth World Champion, double Youth Olympic Champion) and also winner of this year's opening in Budapest. I read that Hungary is going to send their top girls including Földházi and Kovács who both didn't participate in Budapest Indoor. Poland doesn't send their Olympians - Nowacka had a long break and it's a problem with horse riding (she started in tetrathlon only in Polish Open Cup), Maliszewska has a minor foot injury, Staśkiewicz also had some problems with arm, but seems to be OK now. Also Stasiak has some bigger injury of knee, and Gutkowski also suffered something and didn't start in Polish Open Cup. We send Kobecka and Dominiak for women's event and Ławrynowicz, Świderski and our Youth Olympic medallist Kasperczak (debut in senior international competition outside Poland). For mixed event Kobecka and Ławrynowicz.
