Going to Maracana. Hope it doesn't rain

From Brazil, Fabiana Murer (Athletics) have announced her retirement - she might compete in a final Diamond League stage. Most of the two-time Olympic champions of Women's Volleyball will not play for Brazil anymore (although some will continue playing in clubs for some time). One of the most important retirements is from the Women's Football team: Formiga, who played all 6 Olympics tournaments.

This number is so "even", the 7th gold/silver medal is gonna make a mess! Congrats also on your medal. I was disappointed with Mexico's performance but you won 5 medals just in the last days. Amazing! I may understand your feelings because most of Brazil medals are also won in the last week.

I'm a little tired to write detailed reports about the last three days and I also they wouldn't be so interesting since I didn't went to many sport events these days - it was great to finally go to Maracanã even though our team lost. I took the time to visit some of the best Rio spots and also buy some things. This Thursday was my last day on Olympic Park (with the Women's Handball semifinal), which is sad but I guess all good things come to an end. This Friday will be my last day in Deodoro and at the weekend I will enjoy another Rio spots.

Ryan Lochte/swimmers "robbery" story completely deconstructed today. Why I'm not surprised?

Iranian fans at the venue were really upset, but I don't understand what happened. 5th place was a good result for Brazil

The crowd was obviously booing him because of the (understandable, but controversial) comments he made after the event yesterday, but one time was more than damaging, didn't expect this today.
