    The American Courts. The Main reason USTF has that trial format is because America is litigation mad and it would all end in frequent court battles.

    They couldn’t select her for the relay without breaking their own rules that say the only those who run in the final can be selected. As her result was annulled she didn’t.

    USTF couldn’t legally ban Gatlin even if they tried. He would simply sue and win - CAS has made it clear governing bodies cannot ban athletes if they doping bans have expired. Blame CAS and The IOC because the IOC are only people who could put in place a rule that sees a lifetime ban from competiting for all dopers and get CAS to agree to it.

    Lily King famously condemned Gatlin as well. And Russia should be banned because they committed state sponsored doping and every whistleblower and Anti doping organisation in the world recommend a total ban - but the IOC and CAS disagree with that. Efirmova appeared in the relay and while it is unlikely they will beat the Americans in that one things might explode if they do in any of the three finals.

    Michael Johnson - while American he admits to not being in favour of the mixed relay - said earlier the DSQ was likely to be overturned as he believed it to have been done wrongly.

    I wonder what the table would be like CAS allowed the rights of clean athletes to be respected and banned anything Russia.

    The UK was like that for Euro’s until the final which broke all modern records.

    I think ratings are down as well because Dressel and the other swimmers have failed to become breakout stars in the way Phelps have and athletics will do badly worldwide as there are no global stars to bring in the viewers.

    And it’s only because the IOC is corrupt - Russia have been found guilty of state sponsored doping and they haven’t missed a single games run by the IOC despite WADA and most athletes from outside of Russia being in favour of it.

    The Men’s relay will see one of the USA or UK finishing fourth behind ROC and the meet ending with another major argument about doping.

    Once again GB don’t have the depth in numbers to always qualify a B Team.

    I think by the end of the Games GB Athletics will look worse than the rowing as i think the amount of finals reached will likely be the lowest ever and leaving without medals is plausible.
