I'd say that's more true about Greek and Armenian names. Of course, if you're familiar with both cultures (in both cases), then you're probably not making that mistake.

I'm just picking the first Armenian result I see (it's easy to search on FIS website) and not a single of these names would make me doubt whether they're Armenian or Greek (or just Armenian or anything else)...like, at all

Beck grew up in a majority Hispanic neighborhood of Los Angeles. The song is basically what walking around his neighborhood was like in his view.
