Instead, we can think which NOC which has previously won at least one gold in certain team sport event should win in our imaginary games. And that means we could think of e.g. USA women's water polo team for our imaginary games as a team of all the best athletes from all their gold medal teams altogether. Each event has an option "I WILL PASS THIS EVENT" for those who want to take part in the polls but don't want to vote in every event.

I know that the voting in this special poll still continues but I want to say that I have already decided I will abandon the Paris 2024 predictions series till the end of year 2022 and then at the beginning of 2023 I will probably come back to it. I hope in 2023 we will join forces in this project with @Fly_like_a_don who organized great polls here before and I want to say I admire his efforts very much and all his polls were a kind of inspiration for all my activities here on this forum. I have a very mixed feelings about it. I will miss Barty and got a feeling that she comes back soon. But due to this thing Iga may be first ever Polish tennis Number One. 👍 Still, it would taste much better when she would get the 1st spot after beating Barty in French Open final after epic match. But - congrats to both of them!
