  5. This. My only repproach would be the duplicates between the snowoard and freestyle skiing events, specially the ones who were born out of the snowboarding world. Half pipe and snowboarding, yes very much ! Half pipe ans skiing: meh.
  6. Wow, just wow, Hummnaity keeps on giving.
  7. You"re probably right on that one. But it won't get better. That's what P&R does it best; make clubs switch middle term investissments for short term rewards on the field/floor (and then, you get back to the bankruptcies, closures, sell of licences and all the usals)
  8. If I get it right, we would only know the teams entering these play off matches only once the regular qualification phase is over, which is a year after the Nations League will be over
  9. Not quite, as it will serve as a second chance for non allready qualified nations. The pathway is kind of complicated: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Euro_2020_qualifying_play-offs
  10. Who cares about euro qualification anyway ? With 24 teams, it's a given for top teams nowadays. Oh wait... Seriously, I do think this new competition could stand on its two feet and become a new genune international competition to cheer for.
  11. https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1060545/police-raid-headquarters-of-french-rugby-federation tl;dr:
  12. I didn't think much of this new competition up to today, but, it actually looks quite exciting ! The final four will be a nice throwback of the early euro championships too.
  13. That, if you look at the Casablanca's clubs (Wydad & Raja).. For the other clubs, not so much. I guess if you're a white elephant lover, you should support Marocco 2026. They're going to (and they allready do) building the most wonderull white elephants ever.
  14. Craziest thing ? They do stand a chance ! This time, it's up to each FAs to vote and they will do for very selfish reason (time zone, proximity, they don't like like blonde president with smal hands, etc.) and not for the best bid (which is not the one whithout an official website yet...). I assume, Marocco will get most of the african and european votes. Then, it's wild open.
  15. We don't really know. I believed the plan was always to bring the two elderlies in Pyeongchang. But that was before, the 20 yo Clément Noël scored two top 8 finishes back to back. Lizeroux has been out of form since the last Iraq war...
  16. All of them were according to their source. Potentially, every named cited today could be disqualified.
  17. And yet, it was working, The Superlega was turning into a real professionnal league from the bottom to the top. The P&R mantra in Europe is so damn strong...
  18. I'll never understand that logic. The Olympics are not just about medals. Sport is not just about the very top, participation is a key factor also. Federations and NOC should care about that too. Besides, it's not like potential medallists are schoolboys that somehow will get deconcentrated by the "bad pupils".
  19. Ice hockey, and not Bandy WTF, man ? What the hell with this kid's game? These "games" are a yankee plot anyway, the Nordic Games will prevail. Can't wait for the 2026 Games Real sports for real men. EDIT: lol @ "2026". What century do I think I'm living in I obviously meant the 1926 Nordic Games.
  20. No, Jacquelin must be the 5th guy after his Antholz week. Emilien might start the Individual race as to give Guigonnat a bit of rest. I assume, we will see Simon Fourcade starting a race only in case of injury/sickness.
  21. If the french coaches stick with what they said before this week's races. Simon Fourcade booked his ticket to Pyeongchang with his 20th spot today.(Bétarix to stay home).
  22. Ultimately, they are condemned anyway . No one is building them outside of the Olympics (and Marocco for some reason), and some of the most iconic ones are in jeopardy (Baudouin Stadium in Brussels, Stade de France track post 2024...). They will have to work with smaller designated stadium, city events and temporarry infrastructures built inside regular rectangular stadiums (as it was allready talked by Coe). Athletics as we have know it is likely gone.
  23. Even if Sweden wins its two next games, They are many combinations that qualifies both Croatia and France (From Croatia + 2 to Croatia +7) during the final game without pushing too much We (France) could also do a Poland ™, but I doubt it.
  24. Race for the men's Pyeongchang Mass Start (top 15) A lot less interesting on the women's side with only two athletes in competition for the last spot:
