  1. And the Germans take all 4 gold medals. The USA nabbed three medals, and and each nabbed one bronze. Full results posted up in Post 2.
  2. Same podium as last year Gurgl for the Women. Post 2 updated with results! Congrats Mikaela!
  3. Post 2 updated with results from Finland. Now that we're on to the finals, it is of note that out of 18 medals in the women's discipline, only 3 were NOT or . For the men on to finals: Malinin Kagiyama Sato Siao Him Fa Shaidorov Grassl For the women: Chiba Sakamoto Glenn Liu Nakai Watanabe And for Ice Dance: Chock/Bates Cizeron/Fournier Beaudry Fear/Gibson Gilles/Poirier Reed/Ambrulevicius Zingas/Kolesnik
  4. https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/results.html?sectorcode=FS&raceid=18487 Gold is for Gremaud from Switzerland, no?
  5. Team USA 2026 Women - Annika Belshaw, Josie Johnson, Paige Jones Men - Kevin Bickner, Jason Colby, Tate Frantz History The only USA medal came the first time ski jumping was contested at the first Winter Olympics, back in 1924 Chamonix. It was a bronze, and interestingly enough, he wasn't awarded the medal until 50 years later when an error in calculations was discovered. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ski_jumping_at_the_1924_Winter_Olympics#Results Based on last year's World Cup (zero medals), it doesn't seem like we have a lot of hope for the podium this year.
  6. Slopestyle in Stubai only managed to get the W Qualis done. Grace Henderson and Marin Hamill made it into the Top 8.
  7. Team USA 2026 2-Man: TBD 4-Man: Frank Del Duca / Josh Williamson / Boone Niederhofer / Bryan Sosoo, Kris Horn / Carsten Vissering / Hunter Powell / Caleb Furnell Woman Monobob: (I'd assume Armbruster Humphries, Love, and Meyers Taylor) 2-Woman: Kaillie Armbruster Humphries / Jasmine Jones, Kaysha Love / Azaria Hill, Elana Meyers Taylor / Jadin O’Brien History We've medaled every year since 2002, though Germany has been on top recently. We're 3rd overall historically.
  8. Based on the results today from Finland, we have the Grand Prix Finals for Pairs set: Miura Riku & Kihara Ryuichi Deanna Stellato-Dudek & Maxime Deschamps Anastasiia Metelkina & Luka Berulava Sara Contii & Nicolo Macii Minerva Fabienne Hase & Nikita Volodin Maria Pavlova & Alexei Sviatchenko No American duo unfortunately, despite earning 3 medals in Pairs (including Silver and Bronze today)...just the math didn't work in our favor, and Kam & O'Shea had too many errors in their free skate today.
  9. And looks like only Women's Qualis were able to happen. https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/event-details.html?sectorcode=FS&eventid=57937&seasoncode=2026 Per results, they used the Quals results for the W final.
  10. But Florian and Ro earned 5th in Mixed Team.
  11. Glad to see Mystique Ro could come back after that first run to have a good try in Mixed Team. 5th for US. Post 2 updated with full results.
  12. Austin Florian was 10th in Cortina, including marking a track record for the start time on each run.. Mystique Ro didn't have a good first run.
  13. Team USA 2026 Men's - Austin Florian, Dan Barefoot Women's - Kelly Curtis, Mystique Ro Mixed Team - TBD History Our last medals were in 2014. Mystique Ro won Silver in the 2025 WCh. She and Austin Florian won Gold at the Mixed Team event.
  14. For the first time in 20 years, John Shuster will not be representing the in curling. His team lost the US Olympic Trials last night against Team Casper, made up of younger men who watched Shuster as they grew up. It was a Best of 3 series, and apparently Team Shuster had a habit of losing Game 1...but this time, after losing Game 1 and winning Game 2, the magic finally wore off. Hopefully Team Casper will be able to snag one of the two spots remaining at the OQE coming soon! (Had Shuster won the trials, and had the US qualified, then he would be the sole curler to have competed in 6 Olympics..instead, he's tied with one other curler at 5.)
  15. And mistakes continue... Down by 2 with 4 ends to go
  16. And Shuster starts by giving Casper a steal...
  17. Assuming the W Mass Start stands, here is the final table for SLC (also updated in Post 2 above): Event Gold Silver Bronze Men 500m 1 Jordan Stolz Damian Zurek Gao Tingyu 500m 2 Jenning De Boo Yevgeniy Koshkin Kim Jun-Ho 1000m Jordan Stolz Damian Zurek Jenning De Boo 1500m Jordan Stolz Ning Zhongyan Finn Sonnekalb 5000m Timothy Loubineaud Metodey Jilek Sander Eitrem Mass Start Jorrit Bergsma Felix Maly Antoine Gélinas-Beaulieu Team Pursuit United States Norway China Women 500m 1 Femke Kok Erin Jackson Yoshida Yukino 500m 2 Femke Kok Erin Jackson Lee Na-Hyun 1000m Jutta Leerdam Femke Kok Beatrice Lamarche 1500m Joy Beune Antoinette Rijpma-De Jong Ragne Wiklund 3000m Joy Beune Valerie Maltais Ragne Wiklund Mass Start Mia Manganello Valerie Maltais Bente Kerkhoff Team Pursuit Japan Canada United States Medal Count: 1) 7-2-2--11 2) 5-2-1--8 3) 1-0-1--2 4) 1-0-0--1 5) 0-3-2--5 6) 0-2-0--2 7) 0-1-3--4 8) 0-1-2--3 9) 0-1-1--2 10) 0-1-0--1 10) 0-1-0--1 12) 0-0-2--2
  18. Results now showing what we thought... in first. But interestingly, a 0.0 lap for Lap 16 for everyone. Maybe error in ringing the bell or something?
  19. People I don't envy: The Japanese selection committee...how are they going to pick only three women? They have so many great skaters!
  20. If they only did 15 laps, how did they win the sprint points? Edit: Nevermind...they could have been ahead the other times, but in the last lap, stopped one lap too early? Is that what happened? Sucks if so...USA would've been first! (How does that happen?)
  21. The W Mass Start a little boring such that the website broke
  22. And with a time of 33.79, it's not because he skated slow...just the others brought their A-game! (Looking at those times, he only beat that time once, back at WCh in 2024!)
  23. I can only assume the fall by Koo affected Gao , who finished in 14th.
  24. Stolz off the podium...but still walking away with 3 gold medals
