  1. I felt similarly when watching Sport Climbing at the World Games...just wasn't the same with a different commentator.
  2. One feature I would like to see is a way to filter the Events Calendar. The sports calendar is great to browse things that are coming up; however, it is difficult to filter only a certain sport. I recognize that you can use the Search feature in Events to find a sport; however, the search results are not in chronological order...in fact, I can't discern how the events are displayed (as it's also not based on when the event was posted). Might there be a way to browse events by discipline chronologically (past and/or future)? Perhaps I haven't discovered the feature yet. Thanks again to all the admins for this great site!
  3. Question, as I (a newbie here) learn about how this site operates: I see that there are over 300 disciplines tracked on the WCH tracker. Most of them are due to the 2025 WCHs, but I see that some (tennis, golf, e.g.) are based on world rankings at the end of the year. The tracker, though, doesn't have all of the events. The one I notice is Equestrian, and there are probably others. I think they have WCH in 2026, but in 2025, could there be a way to indicate a 'podium' for the events for the year? (There are events like the Nations Cup, and there are individual rankings, etc.) But perhaps the goal isn't to have all events covered. Many (probably most) sports don't have WCH each year, and perhaps the tracker is just for the WCHs contested that year (with a few exceptions).
  4. To Niger's credit, they got awarded a 3-0 victory last June when Rep. of Congo refused to travel to DRC for the game (as their stadium in Brazzaville apparently wasn't up to standard, so they moved it to Kinshasa across the river). The stadium in Brazzaville must have gotten upgraded, as the Congo/Tanzania game was played there yesterday. Congo also was suspended in March due to interference in their federation, so Tanzania and Zambia were each awarded a 3-0 win. (Congo will have only actually played 5 games, assuming they play both next month.) And then of course this is also the group with Eritrea withdrawing...all sorts of drama here!
  5. Looks like Niger didn't host any games. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_FIFA_World_Cup_qualification_–_CAF_Group_E
  6. Slovenian women showing out at Koper! 4 out of 8 of the women's finalists from ! Janja in the top spot, of course. Adam Ondra is here and made the finals in 8th position. And a relative newcomer, Putra Tri Ramadani is in the finals. And no surprise that has three men, including Soratu Anraku in top spot. Finals tomorrow!
  7. I also just saw this event... https://www.ifsc-climbing.org/news/ifsc-nations-grand-finale-2025-to-bring-team-climbing-action-to-fukuoka Invite only 'Grand Finale' in Japan in October for Boulder and Lead. Two men and two women each from Japan, France, Slovenia, Austria, USA, and Great Britain. Interesting! Perhaps another comp to compensate for speed at the WG?
  8. Last Lead WC of the year! that it's the last, but that it's almost here! But also looking forward to next week's final Speed comp and then the WCH soon after. (This is my first year following the sport since the beginning...has been fun! Almost time for ice climbing!)
  9. I couldn't watch the whole game, but I'm glad USA was able to fight hard to come back in the 2nd set after getting run over in Set 1. Congrats, !
  10. AI Image Generator to the rescue.
  11. Ha. Thanks for the note. For days I've been trying to think of what I would want, but have had no bright ideas, so I've just left it boring for now.
  12. Here's the US's line-up with a brief bio powered by AI. (Caveat: I don't follow Boxing. I was surprised to see that the US only earned 1 bronze in Paris.) 15. And - 90-85 in the Bronze Medal bout. Congrats, !
  16. No worries at all about the tip. It's a feature that I'm not 100% happy with myself...but I just thought of a way to fix it. Later today I should be able to get it.

  19. Note to all that I just updated the download above. I decided I liked the ability to filter by medal events in my LA28 Excel, so I added it to Milano. Feel free to re-download. You now have the capability to filter in the Event by (GM) or (BM) if you want to just see sessions with medals.

  21. Got it. Makes sense. Thanks! I'm new to the 'qualifying for the OG' world, so I'm enjoying learning about it.
  22. It was all done through the Terminal on my Mac. It involved Miniforge, which I know absolutely nothing about...I was just following instructions from ChatGPT. It was just a way to run Python scripts on my computer without me having to download something (because I can't due to restrictions on the laptop since it's my employer's). (I have done coding in the past, but running scripts was never my strongsuit...I was just crossing my fingers, and it worked!)
  23. Thanks, but what I mean is the calendar like this one: https://totallympics.com/qualification-tracker/los-angeles-2028/qualification-calendar/2025-qualification-calendar-r3070/
  24. I enjoy looking at the Qualification Calendar for LA. Is there not one for Milano Cortina as well? It doesn't look like it, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing it. (This is also not necessarily a request for one, as I'm sure it takes a lot of work to create.)
  25. It was a process that took a couple of days, simply because I use the free version, and ChatGPT would reach limits on data analysis each day. And, how I did it evolved as I went, based on what the capabilities were. But basically, I showed it the example from @esube that I wanted to model it on, and gave it my schedule with the data I wanted to use. Because it couldn't do everything all at once (could only handle one day at a time), it eventually suggested I use a Python script so I didn't have to wait on data limits in ChatGPT to reset. So, that's what I ultimately did. ChatGPT wrote the script and told me how to run it (as I'm not super keen on how to do it), so it was just a matter of me giving it the data (by editing the script, though I'm sure there were better ways to do it), and it took care of the rest, giving me the Excel file. It had already created a color palette (per my request...rainbow order based on alphabetical sports, as @esube had it), and it was the one that actually suggested the emojis for the medal matches. I just had to go in and tweak a few things.
