  1. Was hoping our Kiwi-turned-Eagle Campbell Wright would have placed higher than 27th, but we'll see how he continues to perform.
  2. And here we have another example of a league going autumn to spring.
  3. Yes, thank you for the equestrian nod. Looks like dressage likewise runs autumn-spring. (But eventing runs spring-autumn.)
  4. ITTF Mixed Team World Cup happening now... Final 8 (these represent half of the teams who entered, and they are now in a Round Robin): Of these and after playing two teams in this round, , , , and haven't lost a match, and the other four haven't won. We'll see how the next couple of days play out! has only lost one game in total. More details here: https://xtresults.ittf.com/teamseventInfo?selectedTab=Stages 1-2 (Groups)&eventId=3263
  5. Thank you. Yes, sorry, my original list could have been clearer (fixing it now). That list was a list of sports I already knew had a season that straddled two years. I was wondering if there were others that I hadn't listed.
  6. This question isn't directly related to qualifying for LA28, but is mostly to help me wrap my mind around each sport federation's calendar. I think all Winter Sports straddle two different years (i.e. seasons start in 2025 and finish in 2026). Most Summer Sports have their annual season in one calendar year (like Sport Climbing has its annual World Cup that starts around April and finishes around October of each year). But some sports are different. Squash has its start of each season in around August and it finishes the next calendar year. Are there other Summer sports like Squash that have their season with a similar calendar, straddling two different years? Sports that I'm already aware of that do this Squash Softball Rugby Sevens Fencing Others?
  7. Haven't kept this up to date...but looks like the Men didn't do well enough to field a team for the Relay in Milano. But Andrew Heo did score our one and only gold in Dordrecht in the 500m!
  8. To those who know more about CC Skiing: Back in Post 2, I'm only compiling results from disciplines that will be in the Olympics (to preview perhaps the podiums there). However, I note that for each event, there are 'classic' and 'freestyle'. This past weekend in Ruka, they skiied the 10km interval start Classic; however, in Milano Cortina, it will be the 10km interval start Free. Would there be a benefit to tracking the disciplines that won't be contested? (i.e. Do different skiiers excel in one vs. the other?) Also, of note, only once will the 50km skiathlon be contested before MiCo.
  9. Got Post 2 updated with compiled results.
  10. Started the results post with these in Post 2.
  11. Copper Mountain results added to the complation post. 3/3 with Shiffrin atop W Slalom and Colturi also on the podium, though this time bronze.
  12. Post 2 updated with results from the past few days. Maruyama has been on the podium for each W jump so far this season.
  13. Shiffrin again with Gold by more than 1.5 seconds! (Caitlin Mcfarlane actually skiied faster than her on Run 2, but had a worse Run 1.)
  14. 9 out of 12 medals for in Innsbruck. Two for and one for . Results in Post 2 updated.
  15. Finished up the results table here. Netherlands won no individual medals this stop. With Heo's gold for USA, it helped us finish fourth in the medals. Italy was 4/4 for bronze in the Men's Relay. Dandjinou won 7 golds. Sarault won 5. (No golds for any USA woman.)
  16. I do (not) love how in the medal table, though the last 5 nations haven't medalled, they still list them as being in 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 (and not even in alphabetical order). Sorry !
  17. I've been gone this weekend and haven't been able to watch much, but shocked to see Heo on top for the M 500m! Edit: And ironically, it's the first gold for USA this season, despite how good Stoddard and KSG are for the women.
  18. Today's Gundersen LH in Ruka had the ski jump cancelled, so they're using yesterday's provisional results (PCR) to determine the start times.
  19. Our first Snowboard competition in the books in Secret Garden. A Japanese sweep of the women's Big Air podium, and China with 1-2 for the Men, Japan taking third. Check Post 2 for full results.
  20. And now one of Team USA's medal contenders is out with a torn ACL. Lauren Macuga was going to be doing the giant slalom today. Lauren Macuga injury: USA skiing loses 2026 Winter Olympics medal hopeful https://share.google/33AvEa2jGyjHqvRdV
  21. Lara Gut-Behrami out for the season due to torn ACL. https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=1276338014526635&set=a.624945446332565
  22. Consolidated results post updated.
  23. Got this post updated with results from Calgary!
  24. Full results back on Post 2 updated, including updated medal count. Canada and Netherlands still top dogs! Belgium appears in the medal table with their first gold.
  25. And the Germans take all 4 gold medals. The USA nabbed three medals, and and each nabbed one bronze. Full results posted up in Post 2.
