  1. About that, I don't mind cancelling in-person classes and moving it all online (I mean my last 2 years of college were all online classes), but do they have to tell students to move out of their dorms as quickly as possible without having a plan? Many students are scrambling to find other accommodations because of the recklessness behind that part of the decision On a personal note, I've been out of college for 5 years now and I haven't heard from my alma mater as to whether they're moving their classes online
  2. Walt Disney World is closed here, for 2 weeks A local art festival is postponing until 2021 And with my birthday coming up next Saturday, I was planning to go to Olive Garden (like we did last year) but I opted for a family-only pizza party instead. The Olive Garden thing can wait
  3. My votes are coming tomorrow. I'll be holding my 2nd listen to the songs that are in my 2nd group tonight, where 5 will qualify to the first group and that's where I'll start ranking them
  4. So I listened to the other 37 songs today: There are 10 songs I'm either ready to give my points to or might end up in my reserves 16 songs are fighting for the last 5 spots in my top 15 11 songs are eliminated
  5. "and by the alarming levels of inaction" You know who you are, Trump et all Meanwhile my dad lives in New York (not near New Rochelle) and he's saying he's buying supplies in case things get bad over there
  6. Apparently Florida officials are doing the same here Then again Florida is full of Trump's ass kissers so I'm not surprised
  7. Several Republican congressmen here are going on self-quarantine since they may have come in contact with a CPAC attendee who already tested positive And I should be screwed too since out of the 13 cases here in Florida, 2 of which are in my county, though they're not saying where in Volusia County these two cases are
  8. I hate to see things cancelled or postponed over a virus, however these governments taking 'drastic' measures are doing much more than what Trump and his administration are doing here. The media isn't helping either, although I understand their need to inform, but they can't seem to do that without causing panic, i.e. how many (of the 100k+ or so cases) have recovered
  9. Deadline to submit the songs to the EBU is today, but we still have 3 more to go... However... Senhit -- Freaky!
  10. I'll start listening to all the song this week. You'll have my votes by Saturday
  11. Aksel Kankaanranta -- Looking Back (tell me about it, the juries did my girl Erika dirty, especially my girl Poli)
  12. Also today... Victoria -- Tears Getting Sober
  13. Florida already have 9 cases, 5 of which are Florida residents that are currently out-of-state And now I have a press conference in the background and a mayor of Orange County, FL, is lamenting on losing money because an event Trump is supposed to attend in Orlando is cancelled out of precaution. And my mom is heading to Hillsborough County tomorrow (where 2 cases are confirmed) so yeah, not totally fucked over here
  14. Another day, another 2 songs released Gjon's Tears -- Repondez-moi Jeangu Macrooy -- Grow As for the rest of the countries, their songs will be released/chosen on the following days March 5 March 6 March 7 March 8 March 9

  22. And Poland chose their song today... 17-year-old Alicja Szemplińska with "Empires"
  23. The United States is back and we're choosing the same song from the original selection. From Rumson, New Jersey, it's Charlie Puth (best known from the song "See You Again" from Fast and Furious 7) with "I Warned Myself"
