LOL at us finishing 31st with 56 points, but honestly, I thought a song like ours would work for this contest since you love it so much, but boy did we overestimated ourselves And congrats @Vektor on hosting the show. Also my congrats to @Wanderer and @Belle on your podium finishes It's nice to be among the handful of countries with a perfect attendance rate, and we're definitely keeping it going. Also, my thanks to those who voted for the United States: . I'd say a 12th place finish isn't bad, I was hoping for a top 5 finish, but this is nice. I will admit this edition isn't the greatest in terms of quality, tho. I really struggled to pick 12 songs to give points to.   13. Fame =/= Victory, I suppose. When I (or Matt) pick entries for the Open contest, we tend to go with songs by popular artists (which are not necessary the most popular but is well known enough to compete), like this edition, I wanted to send Vanessa Carlton, but I didn't want to send her most popular song "A Thousand Miles" so I chose her other song "Ordinary Day" instead. I mean, Ordinary Day isn't as great as A Thousand Miles, but to me, it's good enough to compete in this often competitive contest.
