  1. 1-7 Pakistan is a total disaster they are so bad they won't even beat Scotland, probably.

  3. I predict Saudi Arabia will beat UAE but lose to Japan at home, thus going to play-off (Australia will smash Thailand at home). In the other group, if Korea fire their coach now then they will beat (or draw) Uzbekistan and/or Iran and qualify. If they don't fire him, then they will end up in the play-off...
  4. I mean, this would be the best time to try making it since there haven't been that many world championships since Rio. There will be like 1000 WChs over the next two or three months, so we better hurry
  5. You could try making it in the results forum with the old format made by OlympicIRL.
  6. Our coach understimated the WL, and we are going to div II as a consecuence. De Cecco and Conte enjoying their vacations instead of being here leading the team
  7. Teams for new international tournament that will replace world league (named "Hockey Pro League") were decided: Men : Women: All the nations that I predicted more or less. The only "shock" for me is India in women, but FIH is practically owned by India nowadays through sponsorship, so... Pakistan will play their home games in Scotland (?) due to security reasons. The format will be home and away round robin.
  8. ^should be heywoodu. He is here every day and he is the one that cares most about the issue

  17. No, not all the right are reactionary. It's just that this thread has a high concentration of the latter...
  18. No, they are from non-reactionary people.

  20. Don't bother trying to use logic and basic math with people on this thread. They will still be convinced of their ideas regardless. It's amazing how the forum has shifted, in the old one most active users were leftist and progressive for the most part... now everyone here is a right winger and occasional xenophobia seems to be ok lol
  21. It was obvious Madrid was going to win. I too wanted Juventus to win but having them as favorites is just not realistic. Madrid isn't a great "team" nor it is coached brilliantly, they simply have too much individual quality. In every position (except GK I think) they have the best or the second best player in the world.
  22. I see many people here taking seriously results of world league when almost all teams are either missing important players (eg. Australia with Edgar) or have new coaches... also, when was the last time WL results translated to results in big competitions? WL stopped being relevant like 10 years ago.
  23. Del Potro-Murray could be a great match but unfortunately delpo is injured from the previous match so I don't see much chance for him.
  24. His teams here played "pretty" football but with very bad defense (a bit like Lavolpe). Also he's a bit excentric when speaking to the press so many people didn't take him seriously I guess his style is better suited for Mexico where teams play more open football.
