  1. No, for this tournament is the top five. But anyway, as I explained, it doesn't matter much being 5th or 6th is the same.
  2. Officially only 5, but 6th and 7th place will qualify too 99% sure. If you are asking for Egypt, the main mission for them in the remaining matches is not finish 8th, since they are ranked one place worse than China (who finished 8th in semifinal 1) they would be the first in line to be knocked out of their place by a continental champion.... which could be South Africa at the african cup. So, Egypt has to win one more match, if they don't, they will have to beat South Africa (again) at the african cup.

  4. After today, the 16 teams that will play the women's world cup have been practically decided. They will be: The reason it's all but decided is because there is like less than 1% chance for the 5 continental champions to not be among these teams. Unfortunately did a big effort beating at their home turf, but said team managed a comeback win against USA today to reach the QFs, leaving Chile out. Dream of a first World Cup for them will have to wait another 4 years.
  5. Which cities were waiting to bid for 2028 though?
  6. A little correction of something: Polo (and Squash too) will be exhibition events.
  7. There won't a ticket sale because they will be free. I don't know yet where/when they will be given.
  8. Some news: Polo has been added to the program and apparently FIH will allow us to qualify both teams for hockey... Our NOC seems desperate to scratch some medals wherever possible
  9. We will bid to host world league finals next year.
  10. USA also in semis. So, tomorrow: Russia-Brazil, Russia can only qualify winning 3-0. Serbia-France, Serbia has to win 3-0 or 3-1.
  11. Kerri Walsh Jennings played indoor volleyball in 2000, then switched to Beach and took part in every olympics afterwards.

  13. So, North Korea is perfectly fine for slovaks?
  14. They are in the same group, so they can't play in QF. He's talking about the final group game that is tomorrow. Italy IMO will likely finish 3rd in the group, which means their opponent could be Australia, Belgium or New Zealand

  16. Actually, Japan will play in first division and not Slovenia
  17. Achievement worth mentioning: Italy has qualified for the QF in Brussels and will very likely play a women's world cup after 42 years
  18. Group of death is solved rather quickly as Argentina and Iran qualify for top 8 Our team plays pretty well considering we have 0 players above 200cm of height.
  19. Today is Quarterfinals day, teams that win qualify for WC (but anyway all 8 teams will likely end up qualifying at the end). beats to become the 1st team to qualify for world cup And after that lost to
  20. I'm not tuniscof, but I think those are 7 points for the day (3 points from MEX-POR and 4 from CMR-CHI). I know because I had similar predictions (1-1 too and 2-4 for chile).
  21. Canada is out only if you win and if Bulgaria also wins, which is definitely not "99% sure".
