  1. Bye bye wc
  2. I made a little research and apparently it entered the country through German inmigrants in early XX century. Then two guys from Buenos Aires travelled to San Juan and founded a hockey club there and the people from the province just took a liking to the sport and it grew from then to these days.
  3. Also Burkina, Cabo Verde, Congo leading I love African qualifier, it's the opposite of Asia, all unpredictable.
  4. In Argentina it's the opposite: The world championship hasn't been broadcasted on any nation-wide channel in years (since 2009 I think lol), but suddenly ESPN is broadcasting these Rink Hockey games! This sport is only popular in one province (San Juan) and nowhere else in the country. Almost all our players are from there.
  5. Syria kick Uzbeks out in the last minute
  6. The end. Korea is again in going to a World Cup (to lose all games like almost always )
  7. haha because of you guys' comments I was starting to wonder if my livescore was wrong (i'm not following the FIFA one).
  8. Which one?, they change every edition. The one from 2010 was awful and favored Italy heavily, the one from 2014 was good except for that useless 3rd round. The best one was the one from 2006, which was the same as 2014 but without that silly round.
  9. wow I can't believe this result, I stopped watching in 2nd set to be honest. Still hoping for an final between the tower and the dwarf
  10. Actually Uzbekistan has to score 3, because they are -1 at the moment. About the rest, it's probably coming down to draw of lots.
  11. We lost the americup after leading by 20 pts against a USA team with majority of D-League players
  12. takes the last south american quota for WCh after beating Chile and Venezuela.

  17. I just want to see Argentina play one good match
  18. I just made the calculations and will finish better than / as long as they: - win all 3 remaining games -make a decent goal difference between all them (something like +5 or better) - Montenegro and Denmark both lose to Poland (Denmark play them at home tomorrow, Montenegro away in the last matchday). It would also help inmensely if Montenegro and Denmark tie their remaining game You can make all the permutations with this: http://ultra.zone/2018-FIFA-World-Cup-qualification-UEFA
  19. Yes, but adidas doesn't own football, Wilson doesn't own tennis, etc. These sports are "owned" by an international federation which has "subsidiaries" (national federations) in each country. And every one of them has a say in how the international federation and the game in general must be run. In a video game company only a handful of people make all the decisions. I see there is a video game international federation, but I don't know how much power it can have in practice... at the end each videogame is essentially a totally different "sport" and each company can do whatever it wants with it's product. The situation is not the same as in conventional sports because, for example, there is no "adidas football" or "nike football", there is one association football game and there are companies that just provide the products to play it.

  21. Indeed, Ngapeth acts like a cocky douche at times, and it is not an unpopular opinion in the volleyball world.
  22. No. For the simple reason that games are made and owned by companies.

  24. Of course I wasn't serious, but anyway I would like to see what results Ledecky would have training in our system I hope this girl is drafted by american university soon, the further away she's from here the better. The 1500 wasn't her best race... until yesterday. In fact, I was very surprised by this time, I was expecting something like 16:10 at best. I'm also surprised the american Sullivan made such a weak time here being that she made monster 15:57 just two weeks ago. I know about the chinese girl not being here but I feel that girl's results will mysteriously get worse in a few years
  25. wow Pignatiello 15:59 in the 1500m, gold medal and new national record The Latin Ledecky (?)
