  2. I do not think that's very funny tbh. The athletes do not have a change to avoid being filmed this way. And moreover, at least Pinto was not aware that there was a block camera and this is just inacceptable. However, in my opionion this is not a question of gender. I myself would feel uncomfortable being filmed this way and not knowing being filmed this way is even worse. Maybe some people/athletes don't care at all, but IAAF may not claim that this as a premise for all athletes.

  10. Qualified countries per new WKF Olympic ranking on 1 October Men Kata: 67kg: 75kg: +75kg: Women Kata: 55kg: 61kg: +61kg: if today was the end of the qualification race, Italy had 5 quotas ! Turkey and Iran with 4, Egypt, USA and Azerbaijan with 3. but if they are going to replace 2019 European with the next one, that may change a lot in this ranking. Only 2 more events left this year, both of them Premier League, Moscow 4-6 October and Madrid late November.

  13. no but because of the number of doping cases they had. they are limited to send only 1 male weightlifter (for BLR it's 100% and for ARM it's 99%) and I'm quite sure both countries are going to use that lone quota in men's 109kg. and they will battle each other for the gold medal. while at +109kg it will be silver at best. I wrote a long post about it . this is a funny situation ,

  16. PORTUGAL Dulce Pontes - Canção do Mar As usual, I use the TISC to show the best of Portuguese music, doing it with different music genres. This time I bring you what is probably the song which more accurately represents Portugal and our people, a fado-like music, originally from our greatest fadist of all time (Amalia Rodrigues), which is about the sea and sadness and missing someone.

  26. CHINA Song:Green leaves affecting the roots by Mao A'min lyrics : Don't ask me where to go My heart is following you Don't ask me where to go My love is holding you I am your green leaf My roots are in your land Say goodbye to you in the spring breeze Today, this side will be there tomorrow. Don't ask me where to go My heart is following you Don't ask me where to go My love is holding you No matter where I parked in the cloud My eyes always cast to you If I sing in the wind That song is also for you. Oh, don't ask me where to go. My path is full of memories You also bless me. I also wish you This is the affection of the green leaves on the roots. Don't ask me, don't ask me where to go I am your green leaf My roots are in your land This is the affection of the green leaves on the roots.

  33. Last time I seriously tried to cook something, I was at my mom's house and I forgot a pan with hot oil on the stove. When I came back, the flames were reaching the ceiling, and the path for me to throw the oil inside the kitchen sink was blocked. The only solution I found was to literally scream warning people to move out and threw the flaming pan out of the window. Thankfully no one was hurt, but my mom's neighbors laugh at me until this day.

  34. Italy is here with almost B team. Only their setter and libero are the starters. Some other teams are also here with weakened squads: Russia, Canada, Argentina. Poland will play the first few matches with substitutes as well before the starters arrive from France. I think only Brazil, Iran and USA are here with almost best team. They are missing only one starter player each.

  35. Moroccan rider already has the requirements, while Palestine will probably end up with two eligible riders (Al-Shaer is mostly unlucky to still be unqualified, while Zimmermann has only just started his campaign...). However, one should perhaps keep an eye on the Iranian rider. Apparently she took over the ride on former British team horse Don Carissimo, and this weekend they are scheduled to make international debut. Still, I don't really expect her to be a contender, but you never know.

  38. 100m is super short for cross country skiers. Would consider it as pointless. You barely start and you finish in few sec. CCS has been made for longer distances. To make it more attractive - why not do it in a similar way when 2 guys compete but with more action. Let's say 400-500m with one U-turn. Attractive, in the turn can happen anything. But generally good idea - trying to follow parralel slaloms in alpine skiing and snowboarding.

  42. IRELAND It gives me great pleasure to announce Moya Brennan as the Irish representative for TISC Open 2019. The entry, entitled "Labyrinth" is a collaboration with fellow singer-songwriter Liam Lawton and features on the 2004 album "Another World". The song reflects on the journey we all make through life and that labyrinth of paths that lead us to our fate. I hope you enjoy Moya Brennan - Labyrinth Step into the circle step onto your path Find your place of journey where your life is mapped Step into the circle if the way is clear You can start your journey and circle all your fears Labyrinth, labyrinth As you make your journey the centre calls you in Labyrinth, labyrinth Where your heart is calling your destiny begins Find your stepping stones reflecting in the light As you travel on beware of fallen minds As your journey on you are not alone You will find the courage to lead you safely home And though you know your future not On the road that leads us where? The way of love will guide you across Leave you on the wing's despair To find your future there

  47. American Song Selection Announcement After a difficult and long process the American jury has selected a song. There were around 45 songs in contention for inclusion in this years TISC Open. In the final round only 5 were considered by the jury. Both jury members had the exact same order for the 5 songs making the selection process rather easy in the end. So it is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I officially announce the American entry for this years TISC Open... Carry On - By: Fun. Lyrics: Well, I woke up to the sound of silence The cars were cutting like knives in a fist fight And I found you with a bottle of wine Your head in the curtains and heart like the Fourth of July You swore and said we are not We are not shining stars This I know, I never said we are Though I've never been through Hell like that I've closed enough windows to know you can never look back If you're lost and alone or you're sinking like a stone Carry on May your past be the sound of your feet upon the ground Carry on Carry on, carry on So I met up with some friends at the edge of the night At a bar off 75 And we talked and talked about how our parents will die All our neighbors and wives But I'd like to think I can cheat it all To make up for the times I've been cheated on And it's nice to know when I was left for dead I was found and now I don't roam these streets I am not the ghost you want of me If you're lost and alone or you're sinking like a stone Carry on May your past be the sound of your feet upon the ground And carry on Woah, my head is on fire but my legs are fine After all, they are mine Lay your clothes down on the floor Close the door, hold the phones Show me how no one's ever gonna stop us now 'Cause we are, we are shining stars We are invincible, we are who we are On our darkest day when we're miles away So we'll come, we will find our way home If you're lost and alone or you're sinking like a stone Carry on May your past be the sound of your feet upon the ground And carry on Oh No one's ever gonna stop us now No one's ever gonna stop us now No one's ever gonna stop us now Carry On’s uplifting feel and message ultimately won over the hearts of the Americans jury. The song is truly a great anthem with great musicality, terrific vocals, and a catchy beat.

  48. Miroslav Trunda was victorious at CCI4*-S in Minsk, earning himself new 41 points. Following this success, it looks like Czech Republic may qualify as much as two individuals in eventing. And they probably will get two individuals, once Thailand fails to obtain MERs and Russia gets a composite team... Czechs could have been serious contenders for team qualification as well, but I guess Tokyo came a year too soon. Still, it's impressive how they all of a sudden have a bunch of good riders and quality horses.
