  3. Agree 100%, after this comment there is not much left to write here on the topic. Full stop.
  4. my oh my... you are so right here... still hope those not-controlled swimmers won't show up. If you are out because you missed 3 tests in a year, how can you be in if you haven't been tested for 3 years-in-a-row???... i am working so hard all week long and i just don't wanna have poorly made drinks on Friday evening i am working so hard all year long and i just don't wanna have swimming competition spoilt during olympics...
  5. I have a word for that. It's called "politics".
  6. here we disagree 100%, we in POL care a lot about this "conflict" (i have other words for that) but maybe we are biased - we have this war just around our corner, we know many UKR people, we have boarder both with UKR and RUS, this is not an easy situation but ofc not many people here care about Lampedusa and stuff like that, this is far away from here and so on...
  7. here we may agree, Hamas and friends are good at terrorist attacks, French are bad at stopping terrorist attacks, this is the worst (???) possible combo
  8. you mean wrestling and judo WCH?
  9. I am frantically looking through all the data I collected but as for now I don’t see a chance for a medal for POL in 26. but maybe you - from non-Polish perspective- see it different???
  10. This is the best one-liner here this year. And we are in an early December.
  11. @Antooo how are you with your project??? We appreciate it a lot
  12. We thought about a trip to Venezuela in Feb but it looks we have to change our plans… Ehh.. not safe direction I’m afraid now
  13. Quick question: if you could watch only one sports thing live on Sat and one sports thing live on Sun what would you choose? Me: men’s alpine in Val d’Isere
  14. They say 11 BLRUS athletes are qualified. Do these people - one by one - fulfill IOC entry criteria? No support for the invasion, no military connection??? btw, fun fact: BLR and RUS are basically one country now , they will perform under the same flag now somehow, you must admit there is some logic in it - one country one flag heh
  15. When Curtoni fell, her ski went flying really high... Never seen anything like that before. Glad she's ok
  16. Best Polish sports journalist these days imo, you can google translate this if you wish https://wyborcza.pl/7,154903,30487764,w-igrzyskach-w-paryzu-wezma-udzial-rosjanie-i-bialorusini-jest.html#sortBy:Popularity-Desc

  22. BBC: " However, World Athletics said its position remains unchanged, with athletes, support personnel and officials from Russia and Belarus remaining excluded "from all World Athletics Series events. We will continue to monitor the situation, but unless there is a major change in circumstances between now and the Olympic Games, this exclusion will apply to Paris 2024," World Athletics said.
  23. The first good thing which came to my mind thinking about today's big news is that a chance of terrorist attack next summer in Paris is much smaller and if Arab world and China will get promised some future olympics soon a chance for it will be even smaller, almost zero. This is good.
  24. Ok, enough of RUSBLR - UKR - FRA - IOC drama for today for me Still, we totallympians don't make any decisions, we can just look and comment, and that's all we can do. We can also stop watching but with all the bad things about Olympics there is still nothing better in the world of sport (world of entertainment) for me than olympics. So it's weekend, i am having a well-deserved glass of cognac and i will try to make a nice boring post in this thread now but the first thing is - do we know a final list of events for 2026 olympics??? There was some mess with alpine skiing and nordic combined if i remember correctly.
