    For what it's worth: during the week there were some more complications, but doctors thought they had gotten it under control. Things escalated though, and this morning they had to bring the news to her family that any form of recovery was not going to happen. At the beginning of the evening she passed away with her family, boyfriend (and possibly some teammates) with her.

    Barely three months ago she was showing us how to stay fit in these times. I really which disease just completely shredded through her in a matter of weeks (no word about COVID-19, and it didn't sound like that).

    What's up with coaches calling athletes fat? I mean, I get that coaching involves doing more than just saying "you are amazing" all the time, but come on. I remember Gabriela Koukalova (biathlon) talking about how her coach used to call her, quote, 'a fat pig'...when she was still a teenager. No doubt there are many, many, many more examples.

    They could have taken a bit of time to see the young drivers develop, but for now I can understand they choose a veteran like Alonso - who has proven himself quite often - to join the young driver they already have for next year. As for Alonso: it's all about what he wants Maybe he doesn't want to specifically 'add' something to his career, but he just wants to race at F1 level, who are we to say he shouldn't?

    Which is a tiny bit understandable for air sports, considering the logistics, but come on, for tug of war you pretty much literally only need one or two cameras in a fixed position to have a somewhat decent show.

    Can't really find it hard to lose those airsports events when they were barely even shown in Wroclaw. I mean, I'd prefer to have them, but not if they don't get more than a few minutes (and only in the highlight videos of the day basically, without any competition video) attention anyway.

    Oh I don't believe they are lying, I always wonder this also when there is a big drug bust in the news here in the Netherlands One would say I have an idea about it since the flag in my UI suggests I know a thing or two about exporting while my nationality suggests I know a thing or two about importing, but nope, nothing

    I'm curious how they calculate these things though. A quick Google search brings a price (the high estimate) of around €60 per gram of meth. Since they caught 1,5 million grams, that brings us to 90 million euros I'm curious where the calculation is that brings it to over 2 billion (not that I'm doubting it, I am genuinely curious ).
