  1. And those are often the people who call themselves fans the loudest Things go wrong? Let's attack the people we're supposed to support!
  2. I'm assuming Briançon halfway in August is still the first event on the calendar so far (even though it may of course still be postponed/cancelled)?
  3. Couple of months later, Kai Sakakibara hasn't been in a coma for a good while anymore. There's still a big chance of permanent damage, but he is definitely making progress. A while ago, he apparently ordered coffee by himself. The fact that that's a performance to be proud of (which it is!) makes you think about how serious his condition was and still is. https://www.instagram.com/sakakibarakai/
  4. Kane Tanaka has been on quite a run the past year or so, steadily moving up to what's now the 7th place in the list of oldest verified people in history. She can move to 6th the week after next week and she'd get to the all-time podium if she manages to keep the Grim Reaper away until the early second half of September.
  5. HAPPY CAPS LOCK DAY EVERYONE!
  6. When someone like Quin Houff is focused in the camera pictures, you know what's going on.
  7. A little later than scheduled due to rain, but we're about to start at the Tricky Triangle
  8. When the new football season starts, there can be fans in the stadium. Official rule though (as announced by the prime minister): no screaming and singing Yeah, that's gonna be exactly one round with fans and then back to empty stands, considering most so-called 'hardcore' football fans here barely even know how to write the world rule, let alone listen to them
  9. Twice in a year or so. I mean, if you're afraid to fight the guys you're scheduled to fight, just be a man and admit it
  10. I think the only time in my life I've actually seen a Segway was at the race track in Zandvoort when, like other young fans, I was chasing autographs in the paddock and one Alessandro Zanardi (once in a lifetime chance to see him!) just raced by every hopeful face without even looking. The disappointment turned into a grudge in a matter of minutes and that hasn't changed since Apart from that, I honestly can't remember ever actually seeing a Segway
  11. Hey UCI, show me what an idiot looks like. Ok thanks.
  12. Double Dragon II, my sister and I played that so much in our youth
  13. That's how they call the Czech Republic
  14. Even as someone who generally doesn't have major issues with CNN, I must say this is getting pathetic from them
  15. Who will get the first yellow jersey today? Oh wait
  16. I restarted watching 24, of which I watched the first few seasons when I was a kid. Interesting to see how some things are so different (phones), while others aren't really (I saw laptops having the same thing for the audio jacks as they have now ).
  17. The noose wasn't found in Kyle Busch's garage...you can count me out
  18. Apparently Dutch people have slightly different questions
  19. Critical detail indeed, someone who managed to look more than half a year into the future certainly did something bad here (and openly time travelling isn't the only bad thing he did ).
  20. Novak Djokovic’s coach Goran Ivanisevic tests positive for coronavirus
  21. @Griff88 perhaps?
  22. RIP 2020 Doping Show
  23. Oh but the masks, which have been mandatory since 1 June, will remain mandatory
  24. Oh, right. I'm in, now let me read exactly what I'm in for
  25. The only thing that wasn't handled well is that the official could have did some more checking (which most likely would have led to the actual answer) and that Wallace could be a tiny bit fairer afterwards when it was clear it was a misunderstanding. That's not to say he's in the wrong, just that he could have handled it a bit better after the FBI's statement, but that's about it. It was a fun race though, which in the end is the main thing
