  1. Fuglsang seems to be ditching pretty much everything else.
  2. Anne Marie Rindom (Laser Radial) and Lærke Buhl-Hansen (RS:X) officially selected for Denmark meaning that the Danish sailing squad has now all been selected (though qualification in Laser and Finn is still possible)
  3. First match in the Danish football Super League set to take place 28 May.
  4. My city, Aarhus, is getting quite a bit of attention for what we do during the corona. 1. We've set up a drive-in stage that hosts concerts, stand-up, movies and even a lecture https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidnikel/2020/04/29/in-pictures-denmarks-drive-in-venue-gets-around-coronavirus-event-ban/#46b3185d61bb And when the Danish football league restarts (most likely may 29) it will be with virtual spectators on big screens https://www.agf.dk/football-is-back-in-denmark-the-worlds-first-virtual-grandstand-opens-in-aarhus/ How I love the creativity of these times!
  5. And that's ?? making it 0 active cases and 0 deaths!
  6. If things work out in Denmark, stage 3 of the opening will happen june 8: Public gatherings will be allowed up to 30-50. More cultural institutions, including museums, theatres, theme parks and the rest of zoos More parts of the public sector Indoor sports and organisations Folk high schools Meanwhile all night life, fitness centres and indoor swimming pools will stay closed until late summer.
  7. Next stage of reopening in Denmark: May 11: All stores, including those in malls, can reopen Cafés and restaurants can open libraries as well Pro sports start opening May 18: Older school classes open Some zoos open boarding schools open Churches and other religious gatherings open A bit others as well, but these are the most noteworthy
  8. It was very uncertain whether Copenhagen would be able to host both the Tour de France grand depart and the 4 matches of the EURO the same summer with obligations to both events.
  9. It has now been announced that Copenhagen will be hosting the 4 matches!
  10. So final Giro ITT, Tourmalet in La Vuelta and Paris-Roubaix the same time? That'll be tough! Feels like it'll be a headache for the teams to schedule! But well. That's all a question of whether it will actually happen!
  11. Yes, MeToo has surely been used by some people for personal/political gains. I even know somebody who has been a target for these reasons, but ignoring the positive effects of the movement is just stupidity!
  12. Sure there are. But I guess it'll be patience for now... Meaning 1st episode of Breaking Bad done
  13. How lovely. Just finished season 7 of Homeland yesterday just to find out that I will not be able to watch season 8 for a long time due to tv rights!
  14. Kept it going for 1:47.35 meaning 19.18km. Was a bit too motivated meaning that I went out way too fast (more like a 10km pace than one for double the distance). Managed to keep it going for about 11km after which I started to strugle, meaning somewhat slower speed. Kept fighting until about 16,5km. Then I had to walk for a bit. When I saw that I still had a decent distance to the chasing "car", I gave it a go for a km and then another one. I guess with some better pacing, I could already do a half marathon now. But it'll wait for 1½ month. Now I'm just following my team captain, Camilla Pedersen who has passed the marathon
  15. And it makes things even better using a video from The Scum!
  16. Well. After 2 weeks lacking a bit of motivation, I've now registered for the Wings for Life run to get a good run sunday. I guess my target will be at about 18km, but it'll be all about the motivation. Could be more or less. Anyone else joining?
  17. Suddenly reminded me of when I had the chance of affecting the 2016 election I'm sure the committee of Culture and justice of a Danish youth party was the only missing thing for Clinton to win back then
  18. It seems like there's a pretty high risk that Copenhagen will decline hosting as it will not work out with both The Euro and TDF Grand Depart. This is especially a question of the commercial interests most likely not working together. We'll know by thursday.
  19. But I don't really see me going for Roskilde much more than once or twice more. I would be pretty sad if I ended up with just one participation (and with a summer without anything, I could really be needing a comeback next year
  20. It's just rather interesting that they were ready to do it this year but not in 2021. Can't decide if I'm happy about it or not. Makes it slightly easier for Copenhagen to host both the Euro and the Tour, but now I may have to chose between 3 days of Grand Depart or Roskilde Festival (though they do pass by pretty close to the festival when starting in Roskilde).
  21. Alex Pedersen, director of the Grand Depart of the Tour 2021 tells that the dates of the Grand depart will not be changed (according to ASO). That means that they are still planning a Tour taking place 2nd-25th july, meaning that riders completing the Tour will by all means be out of the Olympics.

  23. I would surely join if it fits into the schedule.
  24. Statisticians speculate that about 1/3 of the population of Stockholm has been infected by may 1st (or maybe already). If it is indeed so, you could start to consider if Sweden isn't gonna end up doing decently in the end, though it could be a question of what research shows about immunity. Antibodytests say 11 % though with some false negatives expected meaning that it should be slightly higher. It was a decently small scale experiment and I don't know about the selection, but still pretty interesting.
