  1. So... Went out for what was supposed to be my penultimate distance training pass before the half marathon. The plan was 17-18km with pretty much the setup that I was planning to go with on the 14th (2 bottles of water and 3 isotonic gels) running 2 different loops (1 about 5km and the other 4km). And well... I ended up with this Things really worked out starting at about 2-hour pace and putting on a bit more speed at about 7km and again at 15km (which was when I started considering going the full distance). I did get a bit of problems for the last km or so making me walk the last 400m due to a slightly painful right hamstring. I don't think it's something too bad (it's already better after some good stretches) but didn't want to risk it as I'm still planning to go for it the 14th. Considering that the last 2 days haven't been anything close to the perfect preparation, it may feel even better.
  2. To be fair, it's really not that easy. Calling for special precautions at protests can easily be seen as trying to stop them or make them less effective. At least here in Denmark, most "Covid-rules" don't count when it comes to demonstrations. That did become rather hillarious when a single person entered an area that was closed (due to people gathering there without much social distancing). It was allowed as he had registered it as a demonstration.
  3. Well. This is how we do in Aarhus! And
  4. No doubt. We've already seen some of the anti-lockdown protests help spread the virus. It would be surprising if these are any different.
  5. Haven't listened much to the podcasts, but I do check the site frequently, yeah.
  6. Me too, though Totallympics isn't really the first place I go when it comes to American Football. And I cheer for... Uhm. You know, the ones everybody hates
  7. Man, I'm happy that I live in a country where pretty close to everybody trusts the voting It's truly magnificent seeing Trump being certain that mail-in votes means voter fraud while pretty much everybody around him use it!
  8. Second consecutive day without deaths in Denmark as well (and 3rd in 9 days). Only 19 in ICU beds. Unless the new openings start to show up in the statistics, things are looking good.
  9. I remember that (but now it seems like Ola Toivonen is the more likely target for them)
  10. I guess they will do some sublicencing just like in Norway. Haven't heard anything, but it seems like it's a pretty new deal. I believe we've had it on Eurosport in the past as well. And yeah, Gytkjær has been doing pretty well
  11. Can you see who has the rights in Denmark? Haven't been able to find anything but Danish, Faroese and German football in the schedules.
  12. It's not like Klobuchar is the only potential candidate going through the vetting No surprise that she is on the list, but there's a long way to go.
  13. Well. It's one day and still very low numbers (considering where it has been. Not nearly enough to consider a second wave.
  14. And that's Breaking Bad done. Great show but I don't think I would put it in the very top of the list.
  15. Fuglsang seems to be ditching pretty much everything else.
  16. Anne Marie Rindom (Laser Radial) and Lærke Buhl-Hansen (RS:X) officially selected for Denmark meaning that the Danish sailing squad has now all been selected (though qualification in Laser and Finn is still possible)
  17. First match in the Danish football Super League set to take place 28 May.
  18. My city, Aarhus, is getting quite a bit of attention for what we do during the corona. 1. We've set up a drive-in stage that hosts concerts, stand-up, movies and even a lecture https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidnikel/2020/04/29/in-pictures-denmarks-drive-in-venue-gets-around-coronavirus-event-ban/#46b3185d61bb And when the Danish football league restarts (most likely may 29) it will be with virtual spectators on big screens https://www.agf.dk/football-is-back-in-denmark-the-worlds-first-virtual-grandstand-opens-in-aarhus/ How I love the creativity of these times!
  19. And that's ?? making it 0 active cases and 0 deaths!
  20. If things work out in Denmark, stage 3 of the opening will happen june 8: Public gatherings will be allowed up to 30-50. More cultural institutions, including museums, theatres, theme parks and the rest of zoos More parts of the public sector Indoor sports and organisations Folk high schools Meanwhile all night life, fitness centres and indoor swimming pools will stay closed until late summer.
  21. Next stage of reopening in Denmark: May 11: All stores, including those in malls, can reopen Cafés and restaurants can open libraries as well Pro sports start opening May 18: Older school classes open Some zoos open boarding schools open Churches and other religious gatherings open A bit others as well, but these are the most noteworthy
  22. It was very uncertain whether Copenhagen would be able to host both the Tour de France grand depart and the 4 matches of the EURO the same summer with obligations to both events.
  23. It has now been announced that Copenhagen will be hosting the 4 matches!
  24. So final Giro ITT, Tourmalet in La Vuelta and Paris-Roubaix the same time? That'll be tough! Feels like it'll be a headache for the teams to schedule! But well. That's all a question of whether it will actually happen!
