2 days of Danish Tour de France stage wins. One of those weekends where Danish TV doesn't care about the doping.
Right now it's the 13th stage of 1996 (Rolf Sørensen). After that it's 2 times 2007 (Michael Rasmussen) and 2 times 1996 (Bjarne Riis). Missed Magnus Cort's win from 2018.
Mads Conrad-Petersen (Badminton) will retire after the 2020 Thomas Cup. His doubles partner Mathias Boe announced the same a month ago (well, he would retire after the Olympics if they qualified. If not, the Thomas Cup)
Denmark is finally preparing to do more testing. Up to 5000 a day is expected. Yesterday just below 16.000 had been tested.
So expect the Danish numbers to move up the next week or so.
The numbers of people hospitalized is still growing also in the ICUs where the last couple of days has seen a significant growth at aout 25 %. Hope it won't stay at that rate. Then it will get rough in a week or so.
Damn. The Danish radio just said 80, but that is some hours ago.
But of course plenty of comments cannot look past that it's used by Liverpool, so plenty of hate as well.
There was one in the very last match I watched in Aarhus before the corona. Not really sure that I have seen one before, but I never felt uncertain that it would be a free kick in the situation
So apparently European radio will make "You'll never walk alone" an anthem for the people of the health care working against corona.
At least 80 different radio broadcasters will play the song simultaneously at 8.45 CET
Very symbolic, but I like it.
The Danish parliament is set to vote (laws set in place to help the during the situation). However they can only be 7 at a time in the chamber meaning quite a bit of queueing outside the chamber (luckily most understand the distance)
Meanwhile we're officially at more than 1000 in Denmark. In reality, it is estimated to be at least 10 times higher.
The more interesting number is 129 hospitalized. 24 in ICU.
The testing is expected to intensify very soon.
Meanwhile testing with the drug remdisivir will be tested in Denmark like it is in other countries.
I'm a capitalist, but this really disgusts me!

I'm yet to see one. Some people are frustrated that the pharmacies don't have any on stock, even though it is being made very clear that it really doesn't do much to help us.
