Both even competed in the same semi-final this year. Surely they could have separated them there as a minimum

Looks like one British politician wasn't happy with Ireland last night after we didn't award the UK any points . He is now being investigated by police

But that also isn't perfect solution. Last year Poland went from having just 7 points and last place to 229 points from televoting. There needs to be some kind of balance to counteract diaspora televoting. There will never be a perfect system and this current system certainly is not perfect, but definitely way better than 100% televoting, that isn't fair for nations without diasporas spread throughout Europe.

Well I watched my first Eurovision since 2012. I made it back a t last The music didn't dazzle me but I have to say the vocals improved vastly since the last time I watched
