Errm no.... what has happened over the last couple of years is that the major Olympic sports like cycling, athletics, swimming etc have realised that women's sports would be dead if the Left got their way and have very sensibly decided to protect them. A major victory for common sense. Now, some gender fanatic on the IOC had dug up these two banned athletes and forced international boxing to include them. Even then it was not that big a story....until the first fight took place and all the world could see what an unfair & dangerous mismatch it was.

Rain & lightning delay in the late night match. Closing it down & presumably the v match gets finished later - was 1-1 & something. Hmm, French announcer just sai the match is annullé….

It is always like this now with the pile-up of medals because of complete equality; Athletics & Swimming must overlap. Anyway, alarm not until 08:00 tomorrow.

The only approach is not to argue with them, but to diagnose them.

That doesn’t mean you get NO fast times. Just not as many.

The athletes in question are NOT being discriminated against. They are perfectly free to participate in any form of sport they choose.

Actually, they are doing something wrong. Average athletes are consciously choosing to place themselves in a category to which they do not belong because they know that they are likely to win & thereby profit. It’s called fraud.

Commentators have been emphasizing it lately because there are more NI athletes than ever before in the team especially rowing & swimming.

In term of Day 5 it was the most since Stockholm 1912!

No surprise there. Champions will cling on to hope with their fingerprints, but finally reality wins.

See, this is one of my bugbears. Low wind conditions are precisely when you find out the BEST sailors. It’s like stopping the 100m because someone is running too fast.
