  1. Intent doesn't matter. Nalbandian tried to kick the boards and well... he found them moveable! DQ. See ya later!
  2. DQ. Same as Nalbandian at Queens many moons ago. This was a straight forward decision.
  3. Bullshit MTO doesn't work and Putintseva into QF!
  4. Putintseva was two points away at 5-1, now Martic claws back to 5-4 and obviously takes a tactical MTO.
  5. Goran Ivanisevic sighting...
  6. Martic wins second set and Putintseva seems to be hampered by cramps. She took an extended MTO but I don't see her doing much if she's unable to run in set three.
  7. Dare I say his 1996 Argentine GP exit was more spectacular Even the track marshal tripped in the sand...

  9. Brady beats Kerber 6-1 6-4 and goes into QF. She still hasn't lost a set in four matches.
  10. If you count 2009 Brawn GP as a 'main' team (it was a Honda buy-out after all) then you'll have to go back to 1999 season to find such results (of course I'm talking about the legendary European Grand Prix at Nurburgring).
  11. First time since 2012 Hungarian GP there is no Mercedes, Red Bull or Ferrari on the podium.
  12. Sainz won't be fighting for wins next year at Ferrari. Meanwhile Albon will be sick seeing Gasly win for AlphaTauri.
  13. Since you can change tires under red flag, Stroll got a free pitstop. Watch out for this highly unpopular victory unfolding!

  15. Lashmanova was like the new sensation... in 2012! It's been so many years I thought she simply retired after her ban and the whole Russian race walking went belly up since then anyway (like the whole event in general). Nobody cares about race walking apart from Latin America & Eastern Europe
  16. Swiatek making it competitive vs past-prime Azarenka is still very acceptable. Then again, Magda Linette has more WTA tournament wins than Eugenie Bouchard. There was always like ZERO hype for Linette in Polish media since day one.
  17. You're barely 21-22 yo? If you think life is tough at this age then sorry for the bad news, but life gets tougher once you get older. I wish I was in my early 20s again, those were some fun times
  18. When US Congress calls Zuckerberg to tesity you know Facebook still moves the needle. And which social media will be the new evil empire once TokTok gets blocked in half of the world? Who remembers the time when MySpace was king? Names will change but social media will keep ruling the world. Just the owners will change...
  19. Terrorism itself has changed. The methods of IRA, ETA and Muslim fanatics of planting car bombs looks like kindergarten stuff nowadays. Moreover the very same social media has enabled these terrorists to improve their modus operandi. Facebook is massively powerful to the point it's been accused of rigging elections but it's only a matter of time before it collapses under it's own weight IMO.
  20. Lashmanova is back? When did her doping ban end?
  21. The problem is - in 2020 anyone with a IG or twitter account can call themselves "freelance journalist". Time is money. Right now NOBODY has to wait until the morning to see what's been written in newspapers to find out what's going on. In 5 minutes you have 1,500 retweets and EVERYONE knows what's going on. Fact-checking has been massively devalued because nobody is willing to wait even two hours to deliver a news bomb. Welcome to XXI century!
  22. Dustin Johnson needs to avoid bogey on the last two holes to win Tour Championships.
  23. #1 women's doubles team Mladenovic & Babos have been kicked out of the tournament because state of New York wants to lock Mladenovic for the next week in quarantine ( as she was in contact with Paire). The Mannarino/Zverev delay was indeed over Mannarino refusing to be locked down as long as he is alive in the draw. Organizers eventually gave in to his demands but no such luck for Mladenovic.
  24. Yeah... and asbestos, morphine & nicotine were all once thought to be harmless as well. People are apparently soooo for Mother Nature & planet Earth yet the same people advocate chemical & plastic food as "better". Go and figure.
  25. 120+ Nobel Prize winners support the GMO food crap. Chemical food IS the future, the only question is when EU gives in https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2444569X18300064
