  1. Yeah, Arenas, Ogura, Fernandez, Arbolino, Vietti and Baltus all move up to Moto2 next season. That's the biggest group moving up I can remember in recent years. I wonder what happens with Nagashima? Will he go back to SAG Team?
  2. I suppose your Slovakian is better than my Italian One has to say this looks like a backlash from the Swedish covid strategy that looks totally misguided with every week. It seems like another Shiffrin vs Vlhova battle but Liensberger only 0.52 behind.
  3. Shiffrin had one small wobble but Holdener still a full second behind her
  4. I watched Rai Sport this morning and it looks like Anna Swenn-Larsson is the one who tested positive. Chiara Mair gets bib #7 in the top group Resi Stiegler is back on the World Cup for the first time since March 2019.
  5. I have to say Bagnaia in the works team has failure written all over it. He crashes too often and has choked away podiums & wins this season already - and that was without being on the 'A' team pressure. Rossi should just retire and focus on running his own team. He's not beating Agostini's overall win record no matter what he does now.
  6. You really don't know how politics work, do ya? Who needs evidence in politics? The answer: nobody.
  7. @heywoodu Bo Bendsneyder got 8th in Valencia which is probably the best result for NTS ever but he wasn't retained for 2021. Instead 17-year old Barry Baltus will graduate from Moto3 to partner Hafizh Syahrin. That makes no sense. Baltus hasn't scored a single point in Moto3 this season and needs one or two more years there to even warrant a Moto2 chance. No way he does anything positive on NTS next season IMO.
  8. Well, Democrats cried foul that Russia hacked the elections four years ago Why wouldn't Republicans act the same this time around? Both these parties are equally worthless IMO. The so-called two-party system is complete shambles.
  9. It goes beyond defense but Klostermann, Kehrer and Koch is B-level line-up by Germany standards even with Hummels and Boateng apparently over the hill. Speaking of Freiburg love, what is Luca Waldschmidt doing in NT? He's at Benfica but that league is top-heavy and much weaker than BL. He scored all of seven goals in Bundesliga last season and only two since the COVID break vs the dismal Schalke. Sigh. Compare that to Ulf Kirsten who scored 20+ BL goals and was always second choice behind Klinsmann and Bierhoff back in the day. I know Loew doesn't want to admit mistake in cutting Thomas Mueller but I'd take Mueller over Waldschmidt every single day. Even as back-up to Werner and Sane who are like the new Klinsmann & Voeller tandem. Don't get me even started on Mark Uth playing for NT.
  10. Netherlands came back to win 2-1. Lewandowski was substitued at half-time and now we have a shit storm he doesn't give his all for NT since he wants coach Brzeczek fired. True, Brzeczek is an awful coach who deserves to be fired or else we're getting rolled by Spain at Euro 2021. Plus we NEVER do well against Scandinavians so Sweden probably beats us too
  11. It feels like Loew has over-extended his stay as NT coach. I know Germany has a history of refusing to change their HC but it looks like Loew has reached the high-water mark. Defense looks suspect in particular, no offense to Robin Koch but a guy from overperforming Freiburg isn't the usual standard for the German NT (yeah, I know he's in Leeds now but he made his name in Freiburg). Other than Erich Ribbeck who was a totally unpopular choice I can't remember any German team doing this badly overall (the 0-6 score itself not withstanding). Btw, Poland leads Netherlands 1-0! That's a shock given how we didn't even have a shot on goal vs Italy four days ago!
  12. Huh? Nobody cares about Trump supporters. They were villified even more so than Trump himself. It's only BLM and Democrats dwelling on their victory that truly matters. Let's see how fast Biden can "fix America" or will he blame Trump for everything that happens during his term.
  13. There's no fun left since Biden has won the elections already. Who cares what Trump does now? You had the circus in town for 4 years and you still want more? Geez, it's fucking politics. I didn't realize you're a masochist to such a degree you're gonna follow him until the bitter end
  14. @heywoodu Nobody cares about the election paperwork in court anymore. These lawyers are getting PAID to fill in thousands of useless documents 99% of world's population doesn't even understand. What I want to know is whether Biden continues the trade war with China or not? Huawei is good again? China loves NBA again? Hong Kong is yesterday' news again?
  15. C'mon, that's kinda normal with all these data apps on the phones? People are giving up their security because of some fancy apps all the time. Hijacking media devices is so damn easy in modern times
  16. Well, NASA has wasted so much US tax-payers money they better do something right However the PR stunts of the 1960s are no longer required. Anyone can put a spying satellite on the orbit these days and you don't need such a giant like NASA to do it.
  17. Poland got exposed as predicted. We don't stand a chance against top teams under this head coach. Wins over Bosnia don't mean much anymore.
  18. Franco Morbidelli wins at Valencia, Joan Mir finished 7th and is MotoGP World Champion! Quartararo choked the joint again and crashed out.
  19. Payback for 2008 IRL as Oliver Jarvis caused a collision with Scott Dixon and cost Briscoe/van der Zande the title. Castroneves should send Jarvis a box of chocolades at the very least Castroneves didn't win a title even dating back to his IndyLights days where Tony Kanaan won the 1998 title IIRC.
  20. "Finally"? I don't think anyone expected him to ever get one
  21. At age 45 Helio Castroneves has finally won a championship (in WSCC)
  22. I remember when Marek Hamsik was like the best footballer from our parts of Europe Lewandowski kinda passed him along the way I'm surprised Hamsik chose a glorified part-retirement in China at such a young age. He's only a year older than Lewandowski.
  23. But of course since Kenya is not Russia, nobody's gonna ban the whole state from competing
  24. So, we play our second-favorite neighbors Slovakia in the Euro 2020(1) Group Stage. Congrats! Throwback to the Euro 1996 qualifying. First game, Poland wins 5-0, rematch Slovakia wins 4-1. That second game lives in Polish infamy as one of the low points of the otherwise dreadful 90s for the senior national team. Captain Roman Kosecki (Nantes FC) gets substitued, takes his jersey off and gets booked for the second time which results in red card. He never played for national team again despite only being 29 years old at the time. Renowed troublemaker & provocateur Piotr Swierczewski also gets booked twice for clapping & bowing to the Portuguese referee in cynical fashion. Yeah, those were the 90s in Polish football
  25. You can put Simona de Silvestro in F1 car like right now and spare everyone the PR stunts I bet she wouldn't do much worse than Romain Grosjean in that Haas
