Yep, 2022 is looking quite sexy at the moment. I still think we should wait until May, but this is easily the second best option.

I would totally be okay with 2022. That’d be an epic year. 2 Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, and Asian Games. Plus, I’ve never lived in a time where both Olympics have taken place in a single year, so that’d be really special for me. I also think it gives the world ample time to cover recover from corona, and for the global economy to pick back up. For a business standpoint, this would be a great decision.

Unfortunately the one games the hosted I was able to find, so I probably won’t be able to enlist their help. I have to hope the likes of Greece, Qatar, Mexico, Italy, and Brazil pull through, which once again leaves me feeling mostly hopeless about this process. I too would love to go through the libraries of the IOC, NOCs, and IFs.

Yeah it’s rough. That’s why I have absolute respect for people like you and @Dragon who comb through paper resources as well. I think I already told you why, but the reason I start with 2008 is because that’s when PDF technology went into wide use (at least in multi-sports terms, and not 100s MB per sport), and when I can remember my first multi-sports memory (so essentially the “big bang” for international multi-sports games universe ) I guess I’ll hit up a few of the NOCs then. I know Turkey, Chinese Taipei, and Portugal love to post PDFs, so maybe I’ll start with them. I’ll email Qatar about the Pan Arab Games to, since they seem like an NOC who’d keep stuff like that (or have contacts that can make things happen for me )

So these organizations do have these then? Or at least have the ability to access them? My biggest fear isn’t that they won’t help, but that they wouldn’t be able to. This is a little reassuring at least. Any advice as to who’s more helpful: NOCs, LOCs, the actual data companies, or some one else I haven’t listed?

Multiple states have chosen to go ahead with primary elections tomorrow Yes, it is to incredibly dumb. Yes, it puts people’s health in danger. Yes, we should postpone the elections. We are seriously the dumbest fucking country on the planet. Half of our population still thinks Coronavirus is made up, and the other half won’t shut up about how right they are. Just tonight, the Chairman of the DNC, Tom Perez, went on record to say that he agrees with having primaries tomorrow (as did Trump). What a fucking disgrace. This is why I refuse to endorse a Democrat any longer. The DNC is essentially the Soviet single party. It’s the moderate way or the highway. I mean don’t get me wrong, moderate politics are good for democracy, but there needs to be some change every once in a while. It’s just stupid. I haven’t been happy with the DNC for about as long as I’ve cared about politics. There’s not a single non-corrupt political party in the United States. Democrats love to sit around and virtue signal, but they’re no better than the rest of them. I just can’t with American politics anymore. I need to immigrate to a country that believes in science, that has good moral values, and that has a government that looks out for the people.

Man, I’ve had zero luck. No other collectors, no federations have reached out to help yet, none of the archival services have what I need, and all the websites are no longer active. Talk about demoralizing, at least I still have a few games to work, or else I’d really be stuck with nothing do in quarantine.

Well, my father has started coughing, developed a “runny nose”, and is now taking Tylenol to cope with it. Hopefully it’s not Coronavirus, but we’re all fucked if it is. He’s not listened to our requests not to leave the house, he’s constantly going around the house doing chores and touching things, and he insists on being the one to prepare our food. He isn’t always able to comprehend the concept of the greater good. As a student of communications, I’d classify him as an ineffectual listener. That said, I can’t control his life, and I can only hope he’s not infected. This is a prime example of why I plan to live alone in a small apartment by myself (though I plan to adopt a kid under that plan...)

Parkour get rid of it, but Trampoline and Tumbling! Those are definitely Gymnastics (and some of my favorite disciplines)
