Well, I suppose now is as good a time as any for a grand reveal. I’ll be covering Milano Cortina 2026 in-person as a freelancer for Olympics.com. I just wanted to pop by and say that everyone’s support throughout the years has been really appreciated. The connections and opportunities I’ve gained as part of this community played a big role in my career trajectory. I probably won’t be that active for a while, but I hope you all have a wonderful Olympic Games.

OBS broadcast the training runs for bobsleigh, luge and skeleton at Beijing 2022 too.

They were picked up by NBC Olympics (website streaming) during Beijing 2022. I also remember NBC showing some downhill training runs on broadcast during PyeongChang 2018.

His move to get on the brakes in the outrun is probably one of the most impressive things I've seen in the sport. Getting an underweight sled down in one piece without crashing is no easy feat. Incredible drive from him. The way the other nations greet him and applaud his effort is a great moment too.

Hello from the final Totallympics time zone (as far as I know)...it’s me again. You didn't think I'd let this little tradition of mine die out unceremoniously did you? Of course, not (hopefully). I certainly wouldn't want to disappoint. So here's the final post made of 2025 on Totallympics. Honestly, and this could be personal bias leaking in, it felt like a rather bleak year. Conflicts seemed to spring up faster than Labubu variants, with the pull of both polarization and intolerance growing louder and more worrisome by the day. The forum, like many public spaces, wasn’t free from this upheaval. But it certainly wasn’t all doom and gloom, either. Users came together to celebrate those remarkable achievements that make the impossible feel a bit more possible. Enjoyed the company of an eclectic collection of nerds, jocks, and everything in between. Sharing their passions across numerous threads and topics. And engaging in spirited – sometimes a little too spirited – discussions on the day’s news, results, announcements, and everything else. In many ways, I felt myself becoming more thankful for the connection forums/communities/groups like this provide us with. It made me reflect on how lucky I am to have so many wonderful online acquaintances. Not to mention the web of supportive personal friends, exceptional co-workers and steadfast family members I can lean on and spend time with, day after day. So in the continued spirit of reflection, I chose to remember this year as a collection of moments: good and bad; short and prolonged; discouraging and joyous, and otherwise disinclined. It might not have been the best year all-around, but it certainly was full of life and memories. And it’s hard not to appreciate that. And so, I propose we enter the new year full of hope, full of life, and full of the courage to face whatever comes our way head-on. It costs nothing to try, so why not? Anyways, that’s my soppy message to end 2025. Happy New Year Totallympics!

Honestly, this isn't that bad. You can sort by date/sport, with links to the corresponding PDFs. Sure, it's not the most sleek or informative, but it gets the job done at the end of the day.

It's been a slow start to the winter for many West Coast North American ski resorts, but you'll see plenty of snow on the broadcast today. I'm still sizing up the prospect of digging my way out and heading to the venue
