  1. Andrew Stone wins his NOC's first medal at the Junior Pan American Games, jumping 7.37m for bronze in the men's long jump.
  2. Lots of schedule changes due to weather today.
  3. Catalina Lorca also made the trip from Chengdu to Asunción and won a bronze medal
  4. The Paralympics have been pretty solid in this regard for the last decade or more.
  5. This is officially the longest thread for The World Games on Totallympics I wasn't around as much towards the end, but it was a lot of fun having such an active thread with everyone once again. Let's do this more often!
  6. It was show jumping limited to one breed of horse, the Akhal Teke.
  7. Some of us are old enough to remember the “Akhal Teke Cup” during Ashgabat 2017.
  8. It’s a lot of fun. I personally like the open gender format (mixed, but no rules about how many players of each gender have to be on the field on a time). I’d definitely recommend trying the sport if you get the chance.
  9. There's a couple more things stacked up tomorrow.
  10. Not gonna lie, I actually enjoyed watching the finals. I need to watch the pétanque finals, but I'd probably pick Lyonnaise as my personal favorite of the boules disciplines. Precision shooting is kind of interesting too. I caught a little bit of it during the 2023 SEA Games.
  11. I believe they also oversee the "raffa" discipline, which I would assume comes from
  12. Wet disc = no fun. Trust me on this one. That said, rain games are cool
  13. Geography* I guess we make up for it in grammar
  14. Here you go @heywoodu
  15. Interesting, doesn't show up in the IWGA database. However, a check of my own results collection confirms it
  16. Nochez Gallardo becomes the first athlete from her nation to win a medal at The World Games, with a gold medal no less!
  17. is back in form
  18. It was broadcast during the Winter University Games. There are replays available on FISU.tv. I remember users enjoying it.
  19. I'd recommend giving it another go in the future. I think the broadcast quality differs between events. The mixed relay was a lot of fun to watch in 2022.
  20. Sanda (fighting discipline) finals were electric last night.
  21. No, that'd be ski orienteering
  22. Try this: https://anoc.tv/page/68909668d9f42ab678a2e61b
  23. As far as I know, the results provider (Bornan) and host broadcaster (Mediapro) are the same between Santiago 2023 and Asuncion 2025. It seems odd there'd be such a difference, but maybe logistics on the ground are different (or I have the host broadcaster wrong).
  24. lost both bronze medal matches in archery
  25. Yeah, they needed to just stay with that wide shot that shows both matches. I do agree they could have presented the semifinals better, but like you said, overall, the broadcasts were pretty good.
