Are the target sprint events just grand prix or will they show in the medal totals ? ...... will make a lot of difference to the overall medal table

our shooters who are 30+ look good for their age

I heard that were 1-2 qualifications in swimming so not sure if this final final list

We will probably get some medals on the last couple of days in center fire and standard pistol and pissibly 3 pos junior events but obviously no medals in running target , 300 m and also most probably skeet ......... did get silver junior team skeet and then bronze in individual mens skeet

most likely medallists will remain shooting with mehuli , saurabh and manu should be good for medals ....shooting likely 3 medals weightlifting we should get a medal with jeremy lakshay in badminton and manav in tt also should medal possible medals in hockey 5s nitu in boxing others will be plusses ...... hoping for our first ever gold and maybe our best ever total ( more than 8 )

My take on the situation in the world shooting championship WOOOOOOW - the reason I see that in the last 3 world championships our medals were 2in -2006 , 3in 2010 and 2 in 2014 , so to suddenly to be at 20 is amazing ........ Talent on display mindboggling saurabh in the 10m pistals junior shot better then the seniors in the total , he has broken two world junior records and is just 16 manisha keer seems to be a huge talent in an event we are not good at which is womens trap Mens junior trap team came seond and vivaan and elahi seem to be world class hriday hazarika in 10m rifle panwar and shreya in team 10m junior showed class elvanil is superb do note that manu and abhishek and some of the others who are just at the junior level are already shooting at the senior level , so much talent equivalent to at least 20 possible abhinav bindras who was also a child prodigy .................. this depth of talent will lead to a great future ...

My take on the situation in the world shooting championship WOOOOOOW - the reason I see that in the last 3 world championships our medals were 2in -2006 , 3in 2010 and 2 in 2014 , so to suddenly to be at 20 is amazing ........ Quota Seats my predication was 3-5 quotas so a little behind on that ......, but already got 2 quota seats ( still have a long shot in 25m rapid ) and twice the finalists compared to last time ( 4 already with close shots in 3 other events vs 2 last time ) ....... Which event will the remaining teams qualify for this ........ ( Not clear from wiki seems this is the last qualifying event for this event ) ............. besides of course the individual dual starters

We have won more medals in this world championship than we have won in the last three put together...... it is not about medals alone it is about the quality of this team , let us just applaud this young shooters and revel in their performance ........................medals will happen if not now in the future

It is not just the quota places but the sheer depth of talent .............This team is so young and so bloody talented ........ Brilliant show by Virdhawal and Srihari ........ Swimming we are so far from olympic standard it is scary ....but I am hoping for a couple of swimmers to qualify for tokyo on time and not on universality..... probably it may be one of three Virdhawal , sajan srihari as sejwal seems to be aging

well great things were achieved today in the olympic qualification event .... two quotas today ....last world championship in the whole event we had one ... this time I predict minimum 4-5 which was my prediction before this event began

we have almost same number of medals of the last 3 world championship In the first two days of this one .... This team is phenomenal ............. I forsee this team getting us 3-5 medals at tokyo as I said earlier ....... and if any one is saying otherwise I will call them pessimistic

I think it is time for youngsters who have done well in youth games to be given a chance especially in women because the womens did not do well in commonwealth as well .... suprised by shiva and solanki especially ....manoj is aging and no longer great they need to drop him , mohammed is good but some where loses narrowly I do not know why ..... and high weights were not there ...... men were I think better than last time as they got the same medals and amits win was phenomenal , also the three higher weights were not there

I am very excited by the success of shooting programs ........ we have been shooting close to china in a couple of world cups and at the asian games recently ............Our commonwealth performance was awesome ............ The world championship would tell us exactly where we stand as a team - are finally reaching a level as a team where we claim true place amongst the top nations in this sport Analysis - 2014 World Champ medal count - ( BAND 1 ) -------- China 44, Russia 40 ( BAND 2 ) -------- Germany 25, Italy 25, US 17, SK -14 India - 2 Analysis - 2010 - World Champ medal count - ( BAND 1 ) -------- China 52, Russia 46 ( BAND 2 ) -------- Germany 21, Italy 15, US 24, SK -17 India - 3 If we need to be a band 2 nation at least we need to get between 15-20 medals ......the current team can do this I feel ( Am I optimistic - I am basing this on the junior world cups or asiads) or at least reach towards 6-10 medals ........ the start has been good

india has tons of nerds we can be good

yep i checked ...but still if for the last 4 world championships we have got a maximum of 2-3 medals ...including team and junior ... this time we start with 3 on day 1 that speaks something for our powess in this sport.......having it right next to asians will effect asian nation performances somewhat in the senior levels

but esports is there in the next asian games ....so interesting
